  2. Still... My STI had to go on the Premium/Race service (pretty dropped on its hole spec no more than 2" high at the front) and even though I went through Allied Pickfords, there's something with your pricing that I think is quite overpriced. I had the help of a guy named Jason, he was quite punctual and got back to me as soon as he could when he knew what the deal was etc. He works for Allied Pickfords and not Ceva Logistics but maybe it's worth giving him a call and seeing if he can help out and get a better price? (worth a shot, got nothing to lose right..?) Jason (Allied Pickfords) (08) 9334 5534 Just tell him some dude from Interstate had his help to move and still had his number and that he helped with getting the car across. He said that I did get a great price because I was moving my life away with them but even if it's $2000 after GST it would still be a huge saving. Let us know dude! P.S: Is that Wei's car in your avatar? If so, has that sold? I was looking at that car but it had a few too many km's for me. Shame you're looking at Bayside Blue only because [LONGZ] is awesome and at a stupidly low price, Midnight Purple II V Spec as well!
  3. Dude, that is HEAPS! I'm very surprised it's that much, sorry to hear dude, good luck with your search and let us know how you go!
  4. I used Ceva Logistics to move a my car from Perth to Sydney. Took about two weeks (maximum) and car was in great shape. They noted any marks before it went on the truck and double checked them and ran through them with me when I came to pick it up. They don't do door to door but it depends, I had to use Ceva because my car was too low, drop it off at Welshpool in Perth and pick it up at Villawood in Sydney. Work paid for the shipping of my car but it was around $900 from what I remember, however, I got it a little cheaper than usual because I was using a Courier company to relocate so they did a better price. (Allied Pickfords) Hope that helps mate, good luck.
  5. LOL @ water light cones. Are your front and rear wheels different sizes? ie. Aftermarket fronts and rear stockies of substantially different size (19"F/17"R)? Had that setup temporarily on my GTT back in the day due to blown tyre and the same lights popped up... Except the water light cones HAHAHA.
  6. Correct me if I'm wrong but it appears the rear bar is slightly different in colour? Did the kit get painted at the same time or is the lighting and angle just out?
  7. ? Also, AUDM would be easier/cheaper to insure than JDM.
  8. If you pay the dude the cash monies to get it all over and done with, doesn't end up teaching the him a lesson which may then lead to him continuing to drive on the road thinking he can get away with driving an unregistered car. The brother should pay but also take action, both parties learn the hard way and that's a better chance of having two less people be idiots on the road.
  9. Dude, you're trying so many franchised places, get out a little!!! Han's Cafe is alright but go to Chinatown, may be stupidly and ridiculously small compared to the one in Sydney but you'll manage to find decent Chinese there. As for Japanese, the one that got the car driven into it, whichever one is on Murray Street, that one is decent. Good luck finding eat out food in WA better than NSW. I've just moved over to NSW and can't believe how much cheaper, tastier and more generous the servings are here!
  10. +1 for Ceva Logistics.
  11. Victor... Hatch STI hehe.
  12. Honestly, I think it's awesome. Would definitely have one!

Why don't you guys just write your own maps, run them and post them up if you're happy with it. Not that hard.
  14. Their threat probably meant that they would contact the correct authorities to give you the fine, not that they personally would give you one.
  15. As has been mentioned before, you own it, you drive it, you love it, that's all that matters. I will say something though and hopefully this makes you feel better. Doesn't matter what type of car you have/own/drive, you will always be discriminated against. Drive a "dressed up poser" Lancer and people will give you sh*t because you don't own an EVO... ESPECIALLY EVO drivers... To them, you own a FEVO = Fake EVO. Drive an SS and HSV owners will tell you, "I have one" which makes you all sad and sh*t thinking to yourself, "I just want one" *rolls eyes* Drive a WRX and you'll either wish you had an STI or STI drivers will look down on you (not really but it does happen) Drive a Porsche Boxster and everyone thinks you're a poor arse because you can't afford a GT2/GT3. Drive a Skyline and people that don't know much about Skyline's will automatically ask you if it's a GTR. When you say, "no" they just nod and stop talking about the car because they respect you less, especially if they've never driven or ridden in a GTR to even know the difference. I'm not saying this is all fact but it does happen and some cases are more extreme than others but you will always be discriminated against, at the end of the day, don't give two rats what anyone else thinks, be happy you've got what you have and get on with it. You're thankful for what you have and that's all that matters.
