Getting A Car Transported From Perth To Sydney
luce replied to iwanta34gtr's topic in Western Australia
Still... My STI had to go on the Premium/Race service (pretty dropped on its hole spec no more than 2" high at the front) and even though I went through Allied Pickfords, there's something with your pricing that I think is quite overpriced. I had the help of a guy named Jason, he was quite punctual and got back to me as soon as he could when he knew what the deal was etc. He works for Allied Pickfords and not Ceva Logistics but maybe it's worth giving him a call and seeing if he can help out and get a better price? (worth a shot, got nothing to lose right..?) Jason (Allied Pickfords) (08) 9334 5534 Just tell him some dude from Interstate had his help to move and still had his number and that he helped with getting the car across. He said that I did get a great price because I was moving my life away with them but even if it's $2000 after GST it would still be a huge saving. Let us know dude! P.S: Is that Wei's car in your avatar? If so, has that sold? I was looking at that car but it had a few too many km's for me. Shame you're looking at Bayside Blue only because [LONGZ] is awesome and at a stupidly low price, Midnight Purple II V Spec as well! -

Getting A Car Transported From Perth To Sydney

I used Ceva Logistics to move a my car from Perth to Sydney. Took about two weeks (maximum) and car was in great shape. They noted any marks before it went on the truck and double checked them and ran through them with me when I came to pick it up. They don't do door to door but it depends, I had to use Ceva because my car was too low, drop it off at Welshpool in Perth and pick it up at Villawood in Sydney. Work paid for the shipping of my car but it was around $900 from what I remember, however, I got it a little cheaper than usual because I was using a Courier company to relocate so they did a better price. (Allied Pickfords) Hope that helps mate, good luck. -

Correct me if I'm wrong but it appears the rear bar is slightly different in colour? Did the kit get painted at the same time or is the lighting and angle just out? -
? Also, AUDM would be easier/cheaper to insure than JDM.

If you pay the dude the cash monies to get it all over and done with, doesn't end up teaching the him a lesson which may then lead to him continuing to drive on the road thinking he can get away with driving an unregistered car. The brother should pay but also take action, both parties learn the hard way and that's a better chance of having two less people be idiots on the road.

Dude, you're trying so many franchised places, get out a little!!! Han's Cafe is alright but go to Chinatown, may be stupidly and ridiculously small compared to the one in Sydney but you'll manage to find decent Chinese there. As for Japanese, the one that got the car driven into it, whichever one is on Murray Street, that one is decent. Good luck finding eat out food in WA better than NSW. I've just moved over to NSW and can't believe how much cheaper, tastier and more generous the servings are here!

+1 for Ceva Logistics.

New Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Concept

Honestly, I think it's awesome. Would definitely have one! -
Why don't you guys just write your own maps, run them and post them up if you're happy with it. Not that hard.
-
Their threat probably meant that they would contact the correct authorities to give you the fine, not that they personally would give you one.

As has been mentioned before, you own it, you drive it, you love it, that's all that matters. I will say something though and hopefully this makes you feel better. Doesn't matter what type of car you have/own/drive, you will always be discriminated against. Drive a "dressed up poser" Lancer and people will give you sh*t because you don't own an EVO... ESPECIALLY EVO drivers... To them, you own a FEVO = Fake EVO. Drive an SS and HSV owners will tell you, "I have one" which makes you all sad and sh*t thinking to yourself, "I just want one" *rolls eyes* Drive a WRX and you'll either wish you had an STI or STI drivers will look down on you (not really but it does happen) Drive a Porsche Boxster and everyone thinks you're a poor arse because you can't afford a GT2/GT3. Drive a Skyline and people that don't know much about Skyline's will automatically ask you if it's a GTR. When you say, "no" they just nod and stop talking about the car because they respect you less, especially if they've never driven or ridden in a GTR to even know the difference. I'm not saying this is all fact but it does happen and some cases are more extreme than others but you will always be discriminated against, at the end of the day, don't give two rats what anyone else thinks, be happy you've got what you have and get on with it. You're thankful for what you have and that's all that matters.

FKN ROFL! EVO VI for me under 20k, had one, loved it... Would definitely get another one, would like to know how they're 'try hard''... -
LOL What on earth is FYP?

Bought a GTT and spent too much money on it. Loved it until I got smoked by a lightly tuned EVO. Bought an EVO and now have an STI. Have driven plenty of GTR's too. One thing I can positively say (even though I'm stating the obvious)... GTR/EVO/STI are all in a league of their own regarding interior, exterior and potential. Way better than a stock/lightly/mildly tuned single turbo Skyline by a million years. Would I ever buy another Skyline..? Only a GTR.

hey guys, posting this up for the boyfriend as he doesn't have access to the internet at the moment! have posted the car up for sale from time to time but only on forums, i never took it seriously and the car was really never complete when i had people coming to look at it etc... always had minor issues like a cracked windscreen or something stupid but the car has been taken care of and every cm of the car has been looked over! i was going to get assistance from a workshop that was going to help me put the car up for sale but have since decided against it as i was always changing things around with the car, however... as next semester emerges for uni i've decided that with money and this car, enough is enough... within the next week the car will be on carsales until it sells... i will post up basic information and if there's anyone with any questions that cannot be answered with the thread, just send me a pm cheers GENERAL DETAILS * 1998 Nissan Skyline Coupe GT-T * Manual, Single Turbo INTERIOR DETAILS * Bride Fixed Back Driver's Seat with Genuine R34 Bride Rail * Alpine CD Player with iPod Connectivity * Standard Boost, Battery Voltage, Oil Temperature and Oil Pressure Gauges EXTERIOR DETAILS * Closed Door Respray (from White) in a Custom Gunmetal Pearl (Blue, Green and Purple Specs run through the paint) * FULL URAS Bodykit - Genuine URAS Front - Monkey Magic Manufactured in Japan - Genuine URAS Side Skirts - Monkey Magic Manufactured in Japan - Copy URAS Rear - Monkey Warehouse/DMD Manufactured in Queensland * Bonnet Painted Black * Bootlid Painted Black (centre brake light and spoiler holes welded up) * Aero Mirrors with LED Indicators Painted Black (indicators on front guards welded up) * 19'' Starcorp Mesh Style Rims in Black with Chrome Lip - 235/35/19 Kumho Ecsta SPT Fronts - 265/30/19 Federal 595 SS Rears * Tinted Front Indicators * C-West Eyelids Painted Black * Genuine Nissan Xenon Headlights with 8000k HID's and Clear Parkers * Smoked Crystal Tail-Lights (temporarily on car but can be replaced with stock ones if buyer would prefer) * Death Note (Anime) Decals in Black, Ryuk on one side and Rem on the other... if you have no idea who these guys are or think it's ugly, they can be professionally removed lol MECHANICAL DETAILS * Blitz NUR Spec Racing Cat Back Exhaust with Split Dump Pipe and Aftermarket Front Pipe * Blitz SUS Power Air Filter * Greddy Front Mount Intercooler * HKS Hipermax Adjustable Coilovers (Purple) Fronts * GAB Sports Revo Adjustable Coilovers (Red) Rears * Splitfire Coilpacks * Walbro 255l Fuel Pump as you can see, i've focused a lot on the cosmetic side of things in regards to the car and i've kept the mechanical side of things reasonable, the fact that i drive this car every day means it has to be as reliable as any other daily 6 months rego has just been paid last week as you can see, mechanically, no china parts have been used on the car and i've always run the car on 98 octane fuel... $60/$65 gets me about 400km-450km depending on how i drive and i've always used stock boost, the car has NEVER had a boost controller fitted, manual or electronic so now it's pushing about 10psi but i think the standard boost gauge is holding it back so i think it could push to 11psi/12psi if it really wanted to... all you need to do now is fit some injectors, bigger turbo and an ecu and it should push a nice amount of power for an unopened stock engine enough chit chat, any questions please pm me, thanks Andrew and the price is $24k AND i'm open to swaps with Imports, namely S2000's and EVO VI's... and possibly R33 GTR's cheers
