Most of the problems are now fixed, the idle problem ended up being a few hoses leaking / missing.. has had a full service - all oils look like they had never been changed, changing gears is smooth now .. along with a few other little problems have been fixed. I have installed a auto meter liquid filled gauge / turbo smart boost controller and it seems like a different car. I still have the problem with the brake lights with the addition I have noticed now that when the lights are off at night and I press the petal the dash lights come on / front parkers? Hello, I recently joined the 93 R32 Gtst Skyline team. The car has a front mount intercooler, stock boost, 3 inch exhaust and pod. There are a few things with the car I'm not sure about. 1. when driving along sedately the car's oil pressure gauge shows 0 ... if accelerating it will creep up, and if on the highway it shows 4 .. Is this something to be concerned about or is this normal ? 2. When driving along around 70km/h there is a vibration felt in the wheel and like a humming sound of something maybe rubbing... only around the 70 mark .. any slower or faster and it doesn't seem to be there. 3. when pulling up to a set of lights the idle will drop right down, and quite often stall - seems to be especially when applying the brakes it I slow the car with the gears and pull up the hand brake it will still drop but most of the time with a little rev it will stay running. It has been suggested to me this could be the mass airflow sensor or something? .. does this sound like the problem and will cleaning it with wd40 fix this ? 4. The brake lights seem to stay on when the head lights are turned on.. is this a common problem / easy to fix ? 5. with the above problems fixed is a good idea to get a boost controller and add more psi to the standard turbo.. or should I be doing more to the car before that stage.
