vechicle import approval papers states 1 or jan 1991, sorry of the misundertanding. look up regulation 17 section 20(1)(b) in the motor vechicle standards act 1989.
manufactured before between 1 jan 1989 and 1 jan 1991

engineers report so it can get registered in australia, making sure its up to australian standards.

doesnt need import plates cause it was imported under regulatuion 17: states that the car was built before 1 of jan 1989.
