The one with the ball bearing in it is 12mm long dia of 10mm the other is 8mm long and dia 10mm

The one on the right has no hole through it so wouldnt restrict anything?

I bought the motor 6yrs ago finally got it on a stand before I put it in the car and found these two things in the sump one has a a ball bearing it it and it moves up and down the other no idea any help would be much appreciated there was no metallic particals in the oil so I assume these fell out the bottom somewhere trying to find out before I go any further

Im just wondering if anyone has done a rb30 na rebuild lately if so how much did it cost parts wise as I can do the rebuild my self dont need cam or valve springs or injectors as where all done with in the last 3000k running stage 2 crow cam and heavy duty valve springs standard injectors but have a blocked oil feed some where and a variety of compression ratios from 210psi to 155psi so gonna replace rings so I figure might as well do a whole rebuild just wondering want cost is atm

Im trying to locate / find out which s14 gearbox has the gated centre plate as far as i can find im looking for an s14a gearbox from late s14/200sx really only after the centre plate and info and pictures of what it look like wld help just a bit of info chasing it down for my ppg dog box setup! Any help would be much appreciated

Im putting in my series 1 1980 manual bluebird an sr20det setup an want to go with an RB25 4speed straight cut dogbox and im just wondering what the size ( length width, height) difference is between the to boxes and if the 25 will fit the bluebird trans tunnel i no the shifter hole will need trimming either way any help/info would be great

nw sounds good i think it would go well in my series3 R31 nothing to spectacular but still and eye soar never the less

i recon im gonna see how it goes all the loom has been done to suit a R31 with Aftermarket ECU he was running a wolf 3d just be something different

ok i was told from someone else that a rb20 redtop head was the only 20 head that bolted straight on aswell as the r32 rb25 well sound like im one step up from before anyway lol cheers

i bought a motor and gearbox setup and just curious about it before i put it in my R31. what i was told be the bloke i bought it off was he had it in his drift R31 car before he destroyed the rear end of the car its aparently a VL turbo block with forged internals rb20 redtop head with rb26 internals in the head as i say wat i was told and the gearbox is from an GT-R with the transfer case cut off and sealed up apparently they have a stronger centre shaft hes said it was pushing 450hp-650hp depending on wat turbo/intercooler setup was used and recons it runs 500hp day in day out now im just wondering if it could work, and or wat peoples opions are about it will attach a picture

hi just bought and r31 series 3 Silhouette got it home (drove 400km home was driving fine) now have problems idles fine, and drives fine occasionally but most of the time when you accelerate it wont go past 1500rpm coughs and splutters shakes etc. bought new platinum plugs and leads i think its to do with the air flow meter/fuel pump? any help would be much appreciated

interested in the r31 wondering if i could grab your number?
