i remember this car for ale a while back, my uncle almot bought it but would have had too many dramas with the top mount and manifold ect being from melbourne, i remember he told me to make up my mind as there wa a guy from queensland wanting to part trade his hsv for it. what a beautiful car it is though mate, i still have all the pictures he sent to me, just out of curiosity though if you dont mind me asking, how did the engine damage? becaue i remember it wa a top dollar job at croydon and it didnt have many k's on the rebuild. either way, nice build thread

just wondering how hard these are to find and how much would they go for if found in japan? also, are these rarer then a 400r?

Hi all Selling my 1993 180sx, red in vgc, 105.000kms hardly driven, 2nd owner since imported in 2002, still have the import papers, fully complied and registered in vic. plenty of reg manual. engine is fully standard apart from rear muffler and has never been boosted wich is quite rare these days. the paint is in good condition see pics and the interior is excellent, it has s14 s2 front seats and it still even has the original tape deck from nissan. standard shift knob and steering wheel in excellent condition, in these pics the car isnt even washed the car is always garage and looked after and was only modded as i wanted to start to get into drifting but before i started to modify the engine i decided to sell it.. im at work so i dont have my receipt book with me, but ill write a few things down off the top of my head and re post later when i get home if i have missed anything. exterior - side skirts - rear pods - wangan drift wing $$$ - 17"white powder coated wheels - cant remember what the brand of the tyres are but they are practically new and cost me over a grand, have receipts its got fully adjustable camber and caster kits, new shockers and springs, full underbody sway bars and a skyline brake upgrade kit, as i said theres plenty more but i just have to wait till i get home and re post. but seriously, this thing handles superbly, its easy to say but you cant imagine untill you drive it, it stops on a dime too.. i tell you now, you will not find one like this at this price, i have nearly $10,000 in receipts as proof and all it needs is performance mods and off you go racing. i am firm with the price a as this is a great starting point, its priced cheaper then a standard 180sx 2ltr, yet has nothing to be spent on handling, usually the last thing on peoples mind. as i said, its a bargain for what it is, any questions and your welcome to ask cheers

well it depends on how you determine it, i bought the car with the plates on it so it doesnt really bother me, but i see many for sale on japanese sites still saying mspec 2. at the end of the day, type m or m spec. they both mean exactly the same thing, and mspec2 being a series 2 makes plenty of sence. in saying it though, back in 2006, this car was a machine, so even if it had the plates poofter, on it, most people would have loved to have owned the thing. ok ok maybe not poofter hehe but you get my drift ps: a poofter in kazekstani is a female goat.

mate if your interested, iv got a red 2ltr 180sx for sale with 10g's in receipts, honestly nothing more can be done to the suspension, and its got a skyline brake setup on it aswell, s14 interior, genuine 105ks, it hardly gets driven, the previous owner done all the work to it and was building a drift car but he went overseas and needed the money. its got near new $1000 tyres on it, 17 white wheels, side skirts, rear pods, drift wing. not exactly sure but i think its got a kaaz diff, ill check the receipts and let you know. but the motor is totally standard, never been boosted, its even got the standard head deck in it, it arrived in 02 and i am the second owner, its fully registered and i even have the import approval papers on the thing. im after 7g's, beleive me i havnt put it up for sale yet, but its worth every penny. pm me if interested also i owned an r33, number plates where (mspec2), check it out the plates on a search. it had a fair bit done to the suspension and brakes, although the 180 doesnt have anything on it compared to speed, the 180 out braked and out handled it any day of the week, but put the same mods i had on my skyline into my 180 and iv got a sneaking suspicioun that mspec 2 may have had her work cut out for her. but nothing sounds like an rb with a straight through exhaust at full boost with a nice little flame coming out the back as i said, pm me if interested

im not sure what the rules are these days, but although you have a beautiful car, 13 will get you a s2 r33 rith that sort of power if not more. it seems like you want to sell your car thats all, first of all if its not on carsales put it up, take some really good snaps with a high quality camera, and id say advertise it for the 11 mark. but then again i hate selling cars for the price like the rest of the market, takes too long, and i wasted too much time and i end up dropping anyway. my advice, slap it on carsales. if you get a genuine buyer, drop to 300 from your lowest price, um and arr, do some acting, drop another 300 and practically start crying. and you should have a sale. everyone wants to feel like they got a good deal. although you know there getting a good deal, make them feel like they got the deal of the century and that they got one over you, it works every time. oh and get a friend to call when there checking it out, urgency brings on panic of loosing a car, wich in turn brings a min deposit of 200 wich is not refundable. isnt that right jimbo. then if he says nah mate dont want the car, then you can drop an extra 200 on the next buyer, if he buys it. im guessing you will get a very respectable price for your r32

i had a hks gt2535 on my last one, the previous owner tried multiple turbos on it he tried the 2530 and the 2540 but ended up sticking with the 2535. i had power fc, hks front mount, full racepace exhaust from turbo back, big pump, fpr and it mate around 258 - 262rwkw on 14psi. shed blew a few flames out the back aswell hehe. for the street i thought it was perfect as i even passed an epa with the turbo on it, just had to rub out the hks on the actuator and change the exhaust, that was running a standard air filter with an aftermarket panel filter. as they said, depends what your after and what state your in.

im not exactly sure how, but i was driving an r33 gts-t on my p's and some how the guy i bought it off got the weight bumped up on the reg sticker on the windscreen, i think he took it to a weight station with heaps of stuff in it or something and got it registered at the new weight, honestly im not exactly sure how he did it, but i got pulled over for it and the first thing the copper said was with a biiiig smile on his face was "mate you know your now allowed to be driving this thing dont you" i said really, could you explain why, he said sure mate, come have a look at this. he took me to the front and opened his book, he said, you see this is your cars power and typed it into his calculator and he pointed he said that is your weight, and i pointed out on my reg sticker and said, NO -> that is my weight. he looked dumbfounded and said, ??? why is that different. i said it must be the model, he said ok that is your weight, finished typing it in the calculator and said shit hang on. haha he didnt have anything to say, but he did say "ohhh i dont have time for this anyway, iv got better things to do" little did he know it had a 2535, power fc ect ect. he still gave me an epa to get me on something, but i slipped past that too with a p shooter exhaust, the turbo and the power fc still fitted anyway, as i said, i dont know how, but look into bumping up the tare weight on your sticker (legally of course) it worked for me... numerous times

i like the sound of this but im living in colombia at the moment. that shouldnt be a problem should it? just have to log on nice and early hehe, sounds good
