Amazing drive, love Putty Road, 1st time... i love that everyone behaved themselves, and choice pick on destination! I told Lisa (one of the contacts at Crowne Plaza) we'll be back there for sure, poor Rachel is off on annual leave & was looking forward to all the cars (must have forgotten about the call 4 weeks ago ). A BIG thanx to Google maps & Google earth haha i wouldnt have found that destination otherwise. Thanx to SAU execs incl. Anna & Eric, etc. for allowing me to combine the H.R (High Rolla) Putty Road Cruise with theirs, and for SAU's great organisation, it turned out to work amazing as one complete event thanx heaps guys!! Although JZX100 had some suspension issues today with scrubbing out hard on most of those Putty bumps, which made me take it abit too easy & had no choice but to loose everyone, still had a madd day also had a nice cruise back on the freeway with 2 R32GTR's & 2 R34GTRS & Lambchops (love the uper class sniff from that R32, smelt great lol) Whoslesale Suspension book-in call tomorrow for sure... Chaser needs front raised!

I gather we'll just head back up through Windsor main strip (Macquarie St.), then Left @ the T-Intersection, following over the bridge onto Putty Road. Seems like the easist thing to do -

We're working on the cruise route as we speak... looking at different options to minimise a headache for those low and slightly stiff on the suspension. You dont have to be an SAU memeber to attend mate, just ensure the rules are understood -

Originally the plan was to turn at Milbrodale and cut across to lovedale through Broke, seemed like the most direct route, although its not confirmed as yet. Anything we should know about these roads? I do know there is a wooden bridge, one lane, at the end of Milbrodale Rd. -
DUE to this event mistakenly being organised on Easter Sunday, we have chaged the date to the 22nd & have decided with discussion with execs, we are joining in on the SAU Putty Road Cruise.... please see the main thread in events section: Official SAU Putty Road Cruise! DISREGARD ALL INFO IN THIS MAIN THREAD.... WE ARE NOW GOING OFF THE NeW Official SAU EVENT THREAD!!

Crowne Plaza is at Lovedale, its roughly 20->25mins once we get off Putty Road guys... We end up in Lovedale @ Crowne Plaza, Country & Golf Club which is 10minutes from Cessnock itself. There are numerous service stations BP, Caltex in Cessnock. -
Possibly the Top Secret Import matte black R34?

Definately dont want to be breaking laws & putting everyone else in potential trouble.... just to clear it up incase people missed the message in the main thread, this is a Private Cruise with cars of different variety (mostly JDM) & for people who can behave themselves, i have extended the invitation to SAU memembers to attend for this reason! UPDATE: I finally was able to get in touch with Crowne Plaza, Golf & Country Club, Hunter Valley (out the back of Cessnock)... i have booked us in @ the Grapevine Cafe/Bar which has alot of variety on the menu & meals at decent prices (normal bistro style prices). As for FUEL, there are numerous Service Stations down the road (roughly 10min away) in Cessnock so dont stress about fuel issues.. as for those running on E85, if you can, pull out the pin in your ECU to switch to 98. Otherwise if your game enough, bring 2 x 10 or 20ltr Jerry Cans.. lol (not that i would agree to the latter )

Aw fuaarrkk, dont know why i said "Old Putty Road" hahaha wtf & i cant edit either- spewing rofl... Its dangerous because you dont know whats around the next corner! SAU Cruise last year (if im thinking about the right one), was a massive sudden stop around a slightly sharp corner at a crash site & could have ended badly for anyone not paying attention... felt so sorry for those injured in that crash! Diidnt know there was going to be one in April, woops.... my apologies. I'll more than likely come on the SAU one too

Hey guys, im organising a cruise that is one not for the faint hearted. It is only for those keen to tackle the most notorious & dangerous, but also the funnest, stretch of road in NSW--> OLD PUTTY ROAD. Im ending this Cruise @ Crowne Plaza, Golf & Country Club, Hunter Valley (out the back of Cessnock) over some well needed lunch- after the driving! I have made this an invite only event, i thought it would be a great opportunity to extend the invitation to SAU Members- for the reason also i know how well behaved you all are... Here are the details; DATE: Sunday, April 8th MEET: from 10AM WHERE: Parklea T-Way (Corner of Burns Rd/Sunnyholt Rd & Old Windsor Road)!! WE LEAVE: 10:40AM SHARP DESTINATION: Crowne Plaza, Golf & Country Club, Hunter Valley (out the back of Cessnock) 'Click ON' The following link to view the Cruise Route on google maps: CLICK HERE!!! Hope to see you there... been waiting a long time do this cruise!
