hey guys.. im getting my exhaust tomorra..i hope, but i thought a better make sure what im getting is a good choice..now! bear with me as im a total car noob.. so if i dont make sence SRY!,, any way im gettn a turbo back system.. bell dump pipe ( i thnk thast right),3 inch piping with a hi flow cat an a 4 inch cannon exhaust... $1000.00 thats including installation... so does sound like a decent price.?? (PS.. im sure he said mild steel..good/bad?) any advice/info is always good...coz a this stage im going to get done first thing in the morning...

nope..didny know any of that, cheers for the info and advice..one of the other guys posts said those ruturn flow ones means u dont nhave to cut through the reo bar... is that ok..not illegal..?..sumone else said also just go with a better replacement for the small one thats already in there..a gtt i think he called it... my car is pretty much stock an i just want to get it around 200 kilowatts ..its just hard coz i really dont know were to start.. cheers

first off...verrry nice car, midnight purple?? mine is to is... i will look into the price.. you know the funniest thing though!...like i said i am a car noob..I REALLY DONT KNOW WHAT A INTERCOOLER REALLY DOES..?.. this will make me sound stupid, but i just like the look of them...LOL..ps..a friend told me once before i got my r33..that if you ever did put a intercooler on a car an put the mesh infront of it you should put fly-wire behind mesh to keep it better protected..IS THAT TRUE?

hi guys..as im a car NOOB!!!..just wondering, i have a r33 with the orig front bumper an i looking to get intercooler..called my mechanic, DALTON AUTOMOTIVE IN GEELONG..an he has priced a pwr branded one for $699-plus installation..(that decent price?) but my Q is..can it fit under my bumper without having to cut/chop it... if not are there any intercoolers that do fit under orig front bumpers?? cheers..

cheers mate... good to see, but i will see if anyone else thinks hes worth going to.. an that exhaust im just no sure seems a bit gimmicky to me, BUT! does sound nice.... (still really want the hks, but what u gonna do huh..oh well).. what would U reccomend..?? exhaust wise?

hi guys.. i had a previous post HKS LIL HELP!!..about looking for a hks universal exhaust in australia for my r33...with no luck so my Q is for anyone who lives in geelong.. has anyone used JOHNNY MACs..on the highway..just wanted to get some customer feed-back...i went down there other day (im a total car noob).. an he told me for a full 3-4inch full system.$650... that sound right?..i called exhaust bros..they told me $1000..so im not sure... also when i went to johnny macs.. he said he had just got in sum kind of exhuast were it comes with a key chain remote were u can silence it???... cheers..

hi guys... just after a lil help, on my search i found that there is a hks universal hi power muffler exhaust... does anyone know if any aus retailers stock this, or is there anyway i can get without importing. im looking to get for my r33.. any help or advice would be good...also ive seen theres a carbon Ti version.. what are the differences? if any.. an what would be the better choice... cheers.

yes it must have been lessening the tension...as it was that hssssh noise i was after, sorry im tryn to explain best as i can...but when i went to him today, all i said was put the blow off valve back to the way it was...but as i said he said, basically the BOV is stuffed, somthing like that an that he had blocked it, i assume so the air cant get out, no hsssss, hey all i want was it to stop stalling...thanx you for your advice though,,but its hard...as i say to my machanic...i know nothing about cars...but i know how my car feels and drives..

hi all... i have had my r33 for about a yr..loving it..except.. whent to new mechanic.. supposed to be a good mechanic..with lots of knowledge on my car...as i dont know anything about cars AT ALL!!!! told him i wanted to make it a bit better, he recommended pod filter, computer chip, intercooler and gettn better exhuast system...when i first got the car...it was supposed to be completely stock..but since i have found out it had a blitz bov...so i got mechanic to turn it up (if thats what you call it, sorry complete car noob)an i got i got a r33 blitz pod filter!?... but after that i just kept stalling, slight revs..eg when at lits the idle/revs..jumping a bit ..that was 5weeks ago...ive been a way..so last week asked him fix.. as far as i could tell he turned idle up, kept doing it...so TODAY.....iv takn out there..now it feels more powerful,but idle stills up there..almost idling at 1thousand revs...and he said that they had blocked/bov...put sumthing over it.. the turbo gauge inside the car seem so be right up there now as for what ever he has done...it seems to have power, an over 3.5thousand revs..the bloody car shakes.. ive tried to explain everthing as best i can...but if anyone has anything i could say bk to my mechanic plz let me know, or if i havent explained it well enough..i will try again... cheers ps..this is my r33 anyway...hey!! i like it..
