yeah if the engine ends up coming out it'll be for turbo engine to go in. As far as i'm aware it's the same differences as between rb25det series 1 and 2. can usually tell the difference straight up by looking on top of the rocker cover at the back of the engine close to the firewall, if their is a box it's series 1, no box then it's a series 2. apparently also the MAF sensor/plug is different too? 3 prongs being Series 2, 5 prongs being series 1. Might be some other differences too but off the top of my head i'm not aware of them.

*ENGINE HAS NOT BEEN TAKEN OUT YET* Wanting to see who might be interested in buying an RB25DE from an r33 GTS 1996 Series 2. The car is still in use at the moment, engine and car runs all fine. I'm looking at putting another engine into the car so when this one comes out it will be available. So if you are interested then send me a PM. because the engine is not out yet this isn't a quick sale ad, it's more to find out who would be interested and what you'd be wanting. (ie engine, loom, etc.) for arguments sake/to comply with for sale rules, i'll put $1000 on it ~ complete.
