psycodelik replied to rtune's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
pillows balls with make more of a clunk as less dampning, if its coming from the back left? thats totally common, most cars with coilovers clunk back left, -
Order them from nissan, the part numbers on the first page are correct and their called thrust washers, not shims, i bought 2 1.5mm shims and it cost me 16$ total, also AWESOME tech guide, greatly appreciate everyone for contributing

How Heat Resistant Is Carbon Fibre?
psycodelik replied to PM-R33's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
it really depends on the quality of the resin, or the clear coat on the top, carbon fibre is fine with the heat but the clear coating resin and craze or peel off, it wont melt, so id say leave it to let it craze, in the end if it makes it look bad cut around it -
id be going Boost, Water temp, and oil pressure, you need to hook up an AFR gauge to a wideband o2

1.5 And 2 Way Diffs
psycodelik replied to psycodelik's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
ok, yeah looks like i can get a 2 way kaaz for about a grand, and a 1.5way kaaz with 2L of oil for 1100 delivered so i might be going the 1.5 route, so will this affect street performance through the twisties at all? and having the NA diff being an r200 makes it easy as its the same as almost every other nissan. cheers guys -
Hey guys, im new here and looking for some input on 1.5 way and 2 way diffs i have a nissan 300zx Na aus spec, manual, runs pretty good, will be a TT in a years time its my daily, and im looking at getting into drifting and racing with it for now. took it out for a little on the skidpan with project D, and the only thing restricting me from really going hard was my diff, so looking at other options. what are peoples opinions with 1.5 and 2 way diffs,? past experiences? whats the best choice for track/drift suitability and still being comfortable on the street? cheers guys
