  1. You show me yours and I'll show you mine I've seen that white 33 GTR a few times, always parked though. Never realised it was a female driver.
  2. I want to keep the 32 for track duties once I buy a 34. So I was thinking if it's got a 300hp motor sitting in it already, then I can play around adding more power once I've got a place to use it legally. Money isn't so much an issue, it's more than I don't want to dump a fortune on power upgrades when I'm not using the power. I won't be using 500hp on the street, so I'm not going to use money I could be saving for my 34 to get it to 500hp.
  3. that's not much more power than what he's already got in there
  4. Yeah, by the sounds of it, that's MOSTLY the case. But I'll see what Dan says Rego and insurance costs say no to VH
  5. awwww sorry i'm sure we'll still be going when you get home
  6. My sump can be modified and used for the VG. I'll have to wait till Dan reads this to find out about mounts and piping, but he said that overall it's much of a muchness between doing the 25 and doing the VG. Colin. I can NOT afford a VQ turbo. Plain and simple, I just bloody can't. Yes it might be more jizzworthy, but I simply cannot afford one, and am not throwing that much money into the 32.
  7. Conversion will be happening at Garage De' Brewer with assistance from Smitty Inc and Isola Pty Ltd Will be a stock VG30DETT for starters with a V mount intercooler and dual HKS SSQVs hidden somewhere. (Well... that's the plan so far that Dan and I have drawn up). Unsure on other bits yet. 300hp is the target for either RB25 or VG30.
  8. what fab work? Dan... have you been telling me lies?! You know I'm a fragile being!!
  9. And gearbox. But Dan said something my bell housing will match up with the VG box true... you said cheap gtst my bad. strangely enough, they came with my AWD car Do tell? Rather keen on the 30, so please fill me in with anything I need to know. I'm currently in engine research mode
  10. For a minute there... I forgot you were paying for it
  11. I have an AWD motor and gearbox already, so I use that, plus new engine = no problem. And where are you finding cheaper RB26s than 25s and VG30s?
  12. If I do a conversion, it'll be an RB25, or a VG30 twin turbo.
  13. No, I am not going to hunt back through and find it for you, but in the classifieds somebody had a set of the inner guards with the ducts for sale. I think he was in Melbourne.
  14. You asked me: Dick In Ass, Gooch Fucker? I'm quite comfortable being able to sit down without a hemorrhoid doughnut, so I said no thank you
  15. Do you happen to know product codes? Front bar fixed now? I'll still <3 you if you buy a 34. well he's looking at 13bs, so maybe he's getting ready to buy tight leather pants and start cutting hair My year range was safer to confine it to 33s only
  16. Sounds good I'll let you know when I have paint job money and get his details
  17. O Rly? Does he do taxi sprays? That's all it really needs. There's one panel that's cracked that I just don't care about anymore but hopefully it can be painted over. Hmmm I need new window seals so it doesn't take on water like a 95-97 model.
  18. My money is on a Civic or FC No thank you, I'm fine Check with Tristan
  19. Yeah, just a little, seeing as how the only gauge that's any good without one is a volt meter Mmmmm I know what you mean. I think I'm gonna have to be careful once I land a job to NOT go stupid on little expensive pieces. The only money I'm really prepared to throw at the 32 is a paint job, and an engine transplant (and related items. fuel pumps etc). Apart from that I have to start saving for my 34 once I'm working again!!
  20. Well... it is. It's just not together. I'm just trying to stir Tas up about him obsessing over gauges when the engine is a little more important
  21. Nothing wrong with it when the car is already running Yessir
