John - I'm not sure what the ranga is doing yet, so I'm not even sure if I'll be at Baskins let alone the car wash. Secondly, I only have enough money for ice cream and Rockstar until tomorrow, so couldn't pay you tonight anyway. Maybe I can get it from you on the weekend or something? Martin - Yes, please bring the AFM tonight and I'll make that tomorrow's task Colin - Did you get my PM? I don't know what your plan of attack is Tristan - I'm always angry. Just sometimes you can't tell. They're the dangerous times

1994 R33 Gts-t Manual - Dark Blue Over Silver 132,500km

Damn... kinda wishing I'd held out for a 33 now instead of getting the 32. Oh well. Also, I used to know someone who lived in Hunter Street! Small world! Free bump, and good luck with the sale man. Hopefully people don't try to Jew you on price again -
Yeah, they're stores that sell bound pages of paper with print on them. Tomes, or affectionately reffered to as "books". These "books" usually contain stories, or information. You purchase them, take them home and then look at each word in order. Your mind sees the words and connects them together in sentence and paragraphical form as though people were speaking inside your head. They call this sensation "reading".

Some stayed. Some left. Some visit occasionally. I see no problem with that. I know my description, I don't need to read it again. It's an EXTENSION OF THE MEET. Therefore it is both things, casual chat, and discussion of a specific meet. On top of that it's also a thread for arranging additional meets, it's also a tech thread, it's also a troubleshooting thread, etc, etc, etc. All the extras and etceteras ultimately tie into each week's meet (or other meets). This thread is discussed at EVERY meet. Well then why suggest merging it? All the information needed for the meets is on the first few pages. Any questions relating to meets that randomly pop on in this thead are also answered. Everyone can find out nice and easy about the meet. Take the additional posting out of this thread and then it does just become an events thread, and like all events threads it will sink it's way to the bottom and die, or fill up with a new batch of whoring. I don't see why we should have to when we already have this thread. It's not like we're reforming the Third Reich in here, or arming/funding terrorists, so I don't see how it really bothers anyone.

The one with 200 people. I'd leave that bitch like a rocket. A nightclub with 2 people is somthing I'd love. No line up for the bar, no line up for the can, plenty of seats. Even cooler if it was a club with a live band, because then you could sit/stand anywhere and see. That sounds like the most awesome nightclub in the history of nightclubs. It's one even I'd go to. I normally don't go to clubs because I hate people and wish death upon many of them. I don't quite understand this question... but people don't HAVE to check anything. But those who do take 5 mins to check something seemingly unrelated to them, then at least have the option. When the Charity Cruise thread opened up for this years cruise I looked at it and though "Pffft... charity" but I read it anyway, and wound up going. It seemed totally pointless and irrelevant and unrelated to me, but I spent 5 mins and looked anyway, and went. And will probably go again next year. No one MADE me do it, and I didn't HAVE to do it. I simply chose to look at something that I would normally shrug off. And you know what? If I'd missed out, I'd have no one to blame but myself. 5 mins isn't a long time. If people can't spare it to have a look at something, then they probably are too busy/important to come to a meet anyway. You could move it to the events section. But we won't stop posting in it. And then it'd be a thread no one else can keep track of and wondering why it's in meets and think it's a whore thread etc etc. I always miss the fun stuff Actually it is. And the posts are related. Usually the posts will be about something that happened or was said at the meet, or many posts/happenings will be spoken about at the meet. And it's not just ONE meet. In this thread we organise other meets, like the Pommie's house warming (which never took place... but still) and others. Some of those meets we have as 'ideas' at our weekly meet, and then nut out the details in here. There is a LOT in this thread that's meet related. And if you are there tomorrow, you'd hear us talk about how crazy the prices of those cars were, the internet thingy, the government will get bitched about some more, we'll find out if Miso ever got any bourbon, see who's phone's are still PF, and the limp wrists will talk about the cricket It's not JUST about the ORIGINAL meet. It's about an ongoing saga of meets and spinoff spectacular showcases and all that fun stuff. And those who are willing to read and contribute to this thread can learn all about it and join in Lots of posts does NOT mean alive and well. For all you know 80% of the people in there were posting simply because it was THE place to post. Once something else opened up and there was a choice... well... we see what way that choice went. True, it's possible. But I live north side. I opened it. I made a choice to spend 5 mins of my time and check. Wound up reading the whole thread from start to finish, then joined the forum and started posting. So I don't see why someone else can't spend a little time and effort checking things out. Some threads on here are toally LOL worthy, but you wouldn't know from the titles. It never hurts to check. Some people don't get that though... it's like if it doesn't ultimately and immediately benefit them, then there's no point in it. Those people miss out because of their greed and impatience. *QUOTE LIMIT*
