  1. A relay for the fan/ac control, and some *bsskkt* for the wipers (phone reception was shit) sorta sounded like a switch... Then hopefully the brake lights and reverse lights are just a fuse. And I'm getting them to have a look at the head unit. The dude at JB said it might be because we didn't have the remote wire connected to ACC. But... I dunno. In hindsight, probably should have gotten one of those adapter plugs
  2. Won't have the car back today. They need to try and source some parts tomorrow... so hopefully they can get it all and have her ready tomorrow.
  3. That thread was fun
  4. Tentative yes from me too! Just need more info
  5. +1 The head unit is fine, plugged it in at JB and powered straight up. I've got the car at an auto electrician today, asked them to go over it top to bottom. Figured I should do that seeing as the brake lights are on the fritz and the reverse lights are intermittent and I'm getting them to double check that alarm so it works properly and actually ALARMS when the door/bonnet/boot open. Y'know... what it was made for lol. So hopefully the dirty FO' won't have any more wiring troubles by the end of the day
  6. Mmmmm early Saturdays. Martin - gotta make a quick run to the shops on the way to your place because I didn't get enough black wire. No bastard had any heatshrink either Should be there in... approx 1hr. I'll let you know when I'm close (that's what she said)
  7. well it does work a bit (had car on the hoist and all four wheels spun) but it's not getting enough fluid through, so it's not working correctly, and the light is on. I think there's a big air pocket in the line because the car sat for so long. + old manky ass fluid. If it still plays up after a bleed I'll get the relays checked, good suggestion
  8. I know how Just need someone to help me with it, two man job (that's what she said)
  9. Oh Martin, one other thing. Do you have car ramps/stands so that we can bleed my AWD system so it's working again?

uh huh, soft. but oh well.
  11. apart from, that's what she said... I've been googling it, and yeah. very hard, and very unsecure... dammit lol
  12. Got my first pull over this morning. Came out of maccas at aspley onto Gayford St, and they followed me onto Albany Creek Rd. Pulled me over just past the 711 servo. "Where's your rego sticker?" 'Just got her registered yesterday' "Where's the rego papers?" '....shit... probably still at the dealer' "wait here" *goes and does something in his car. Probably just sat in the air con... stupid heat* "righto. all checks out fine. Grab those papers if you can mate and keep them in the car till the sticker comes?" 'yep, no worries. I'll head down there today' The only bad part was as they were leaving the one who'd been quiet the whole time goes "this is sitting pretty high for a skyline isn't it?" you can't fail harder than having the cops tell you to LOWER your car hahahaha. It's worse than when the motorbike guy told Colin he needed more low
  13. Got my first pull over in the Skyline today! Red RX8, 933-L** (couldn't get it all from the angle of my mirrors). I've seen this car getting around the Aspley/Albany Creek area a bit. So keep an eye out for red RX8s if you're from this area.
  14. That's what she said oh? how many? That's what she said That's what she said lol
