To be fair though, I love all things Volkswagen and have owned two beetles, and did my driving test in a new beetle. They are great cars and go pretty hard. The federals will increase the handling on it, but I would also look at suspension, it's pretty soft, and can affect cornering a bit. I'd just go with 535s though, for an NA Beetle. I would have used 595s on the turbo version. Obviously your call, but my input as a Volkswagen and federal user

I gave you a normal answer as well. the 59s and the 53s are both quiet. I've been in Colin's car when he's been giving it some and the only time we noticed the tyres was when they squealed a little on a corner or two. The 53s I had on the Capri for ages and are also great.

Those black rims are from the '09 Enkei catalogue and I think I'm starting to like them more than the 10 spokes... so I'm thinking either 9 spokes, or 3 spokes. Depending on how much I've saved by the time I destroy the 33rims trying to keep up with Colin on Kyagular (sp?) road lol
