  1. Tried a couple of allen keys with no glory... it's tighter than a jewish girl who was made to sign a prenup
  2. Need to keep my monies to buy grog for services rendered though. I got some sockets and a ratchet the other day, and a window scraper. Decided to build the tools up a little at a time. As long as Jason doesn't come over and break them all will be good
  3. seems to be! I need to get it to the right level though, so in the presence of Mr Plod, I can shift gears around 4k and not have it scream. one of these internal kinda ones
  4. Hmmm... wound too tight and bad vaccuum line to start with. Just flutters. BOV needs 3mm hose, car needs 8mm hose... So I bought some different hoses and some other bits and pieces and went all MacGyver on it. Wound down the spring tension a bit all the way. Leaving Supercrap resulted in a really really really really really really loud SKKEEEEEETTTTTTT... and it seemed to just echo through the buildings and trees I pulled over down the road a bit and wound the tension up a bit, drove some more.... even louder Tighted it a bit more... not too bad... now if I change gears under 4K I get flutters unless it's WOT. If I hammer the ass out of it and change gears it flutters very briefly, then sssssSSSSSSSKKEEEEEEET. Tollerable, but I might wind it up a bit more when I go out. Need to get a tool for removing cir-clips though so I can change the flanges over. The other one has a purple and gold insert, and I think that's the one I'm after. Car runs PRETTY well without being plumed back, but I need to block off my return pipe to keep the idle speed right. Oh. I know that one as "What's the difference between Jam and Vegemite?"
  5. Ok, just fitted up the adjustable spring tension SSQ (ol' chromey) and am about to take it for a test run to get some petrol. Have tools in the car in case it breaks down and I have to fix it to get it home. Will let you know how it goes
  6. They've been screwing us over on JB for the last two weeks. So here's hoping they pick their act up this week! You have a good trip?
  7. avatar: done. sig: waiting until I see something worth while.
  8. Wait... so Colin is actually coming on Saturday? Does he need a ride from the train or anything? I'm picking Dan up on the way through, so can always go past the station too if needed.
  9. ...that could probably be safer going with the jar option...
  10. Either Anna is lurking, or Andy forgot to sign her account out again
  11. Where the Rev (when it was still a cool place to go) used to be on Warner St.
  12. Got me a sexy HDI gauge today on account of that other one kinda... umm... imploding...
  13. Looks tasty. Might have to get some later when I go to Supercheap
  14. On my eighth cup of coffee in the last 2 hours and I'm pretty sure I can see through time
  15. Dan - remember how I said my torque gauge would need a sender? Well I was wrong. GTS4s didn't have a boost gauge, they had a torque gauge, so the cluster in my car before this GTR one wasn't the original one anyway. So if we get the 4WD working, the gauge will hopefully work. Martin - this would also explain why I don't have a sender/box for my boost line as we were discussing on Thursday
  16. No probs. It's a bit chipped, but prop cheaper to repair that than it is to buy the $250 one.
  17. Don't remember his car, but it's the duck bum spoiler that you've been after.
