  1. Good old Rousey. We had him over at ls1.com.au as well.
  2. Keep in mind the torque figures displayed on a chassis dyno are only comparable if the gear they were run in and the diff ratio are identical. I'm not 100% sure of the gear and diff ratio differences (if any) between R33 and R32s. I had runs done in 2nd and 3rd gear, and obviously the ones in 2nd gear showed higher torque figures, due to greater torque multiplication.
  3. syx, was your car keyed while AT the dyno day?
  4. Made 229 when it went on last after everyone finished. Ramp rates are the main differences I think. I would be interested to see how all the cars ran in non-shootout, so the different types of cars could be compared on the same (even more level) playing field. I'm not sure if there are any possible dangers associated with this though. As I mentioned on the day, I really don't care what the dyno says. I use one particular dyno to gauge what differences my mods have made. Car runs 108mph at approx 1850kg with driver, so that's how much HP it has.
  5. I had a great time. Very good turn out. Interesting to note there are two distinct groups amongst the dyno figures for the skylines - lots in he 180-200rwkw region, then the jump to about 240+ for those that have upgraded turbos. I would be interested in some more info about the yellow R33 owned by "Nathan". Looked to be a very good street type package making in the 240s and a nice spread of useable power. Thanks to Will and the guys at Boostworx for the day. Thanks to Ash for the BBQ festivities. Thanks to Andrew for letting us raid his house (again), and his wife for the pies (no jokes required guys). Thanks to everyone else for making mine a very enjoyable day. Will post my graph for everyone later when I can be bothered getting it out of the car.
  6. Not sure about that part though Tim. Not likely, but if they are as stubborn as you say they may just choose to issue a second infringement! Best of luck mate.
  7. This already exists in places such as North Adelaide. Spewing about your situation though Tim. Not sure you will have much luck fighting it though, and you may end up more pissed off than when you started. Is this situation ongoing? Do they plan to give you fines each and every day they are parked there, or is/was this a temporary thing?
  8. Guy, she won't do that for me in private, I can't see it happening for the lot of you!
  9. Duc, it's SATURDAY, not Sunday.
  10. Wives welcome Guy?
  11. I'm looking more likely than before, so I'll probably see you guys there.
  12. Had lunch at Mannum, there sure were a fair few Supras there! Most I've ever seen in one place.
  13. Something like that would have to comply with the relevant ADRs, and therefore would be best sourced complete. Best of luck!
  14. Ash, get that sh1t HOFF there!
  15. I thought this was supposed to be done as part of compliance? No LEGAL way to do it other than new springs I'm afraid. Hope I've been a little help.
  16. My car may or may not be "available" so I'll just take my chances thanks guys.
  17. Here's mine at AIR on 4/9/05 and another up at the gorge
  18. Here's a great post a guy made about torque on a chassis dyno on another forum: from THIS THREAD HERE if you'd like to read it all.
  19. Indeed, good to catch up. If only I didn't feel like I've been hit by a train.
  20. Seen you out at AIR a bit as well. If I get to the show I'll be sure to say G'day.
  21. Heading up the river tonight with a couple of mates. Should be a pretty relaxing weekend. If I was home it would probably be the drags on Saturday.
  22. MS-75 I love your car. Got to be one of the best surprise packages out there. I remember seeing the reaction to it at the Jazmac dyno day. It's pure gold.
  23. You're just the man I want to speak to then Guy! I have some framing I have been meaning to do for a while, and also a pic I am having blown up to get done as well. Will talk to YOU soon!
  24. Yes, run just a couple of weeks ago. There's more there on the right day. I was consistently 2 tenths quicker than a guy who has run 13.09 on a T&T prepped track so there's a 12 in her. Hopefully a mid 12 if I can scrape together the funds for a high stall.
  25. Cold air, full exhaust, tuned engine management, shorter diff gears. Pretty basic bolt on package.
