  1. Actually only one point thankfully. I could scan and post a copy if anyone would like!
  2. So let me get this straight Matt, you're in a magazine about drag, in the tough street section, and you're proud of it? What colour dress were you wearing, it must have been sleeveless, showing off the guns to earn the "tough" part! Nah, just kidding mate, congratulations on being committed to print!
  3. So, anyone else get done? Apparently it was in a 50 zone. I saw the camera, checked my speed, and thought... "just over 60, no worries!" 64 in a 50 zone, $149 and 1 point. I did the crime, I'll do the time and pay the fine. 4 roads meet that roundabout, three out of four are 60 km/hr zones. I knew this for a fact, so I assumed about the 4th... I was wrong. As they say, assumption is the mother of all F uckups!
  4. Ah, the camels! You could have called the place a desert there were so many camels!
  5. Motion seconded and passed.
  6. http://www.quaifeamerica.com/ Select "downloads" Then download QSpeedCalc.exe Will show rev drops on gear change and a whole lot of other useful stuff.
  7. Leaving your wallet in your car is a BAD idea. (See Andrew? ) Sorry to hear about the run of bad luck, and don't want to mention anything about things happening in threes - there might be something else out there waiting for him! Hope not.
  8. Depends how many RPM you lose on the gearchange. You may not get any extra power over your peak, but you MAY get the engine to the point where the next change gets you to a higher power output. For example, if you lost 2000rpm on a change, then shifting at 6000rpm would get you to 4000rpm and down from 185 to 120rwkw, but shifting at 7000rpm would get you from 178rwkw down to 5000rpm and 155rwkw.
  9. I'm happy to cook the barbie, no-one died last time, so I must be ok at it. BBQ brekkie at your place it is then.
  10. See "cheap" comment. Having my bottom enlarged in the big house seems like a great expense to me.
  11. TIME is your biggest problem Andrew, there are three types of work, GOOD, QUICK and CHEAP but the problem is you can only ever have TWO out of the three.
  12. It's ok Matt, you can come to MY place at 9am, then we'll go wake him up together!
  13. Yeah, pretty much. Yeah, pretty much.
  14. The clutch/almost stall in part sounds like it isn't properly disengaging. There may well be bad news coming.
  15. Once I'm all moved (after this weekend) I'm a free man. Exam was last Friday, so that's all out of the way. I'll be there for both, but will probably only watch karts - I find that more fun!
  16. Stoichiometric AFR for iso-octane is, yes. This assumes complete combustion, and 100% efficient use of fuel.
  17. Yeah, especially with the 4wd 3000GT doing a flat 14, then, man with FWD and that power, he would be loving the mid 14s! Sorry, not my cup of tea.
  18. Nah, your house is too far away Andrew.
  19. Today isn't looking great for the drags. 4th of July is a good drag day I reckon. You know when it is a choice between hammering your own car, or an underpowered go kart you'll choose your own car Matty. So, my vote(s) would be 11th for karts and 4th for drags.
  20. Okies, that's a different story then. Just lookin out for ya!
  21. I'm sure regardless of what happens, there will be alcohol and naked ladies for Andrew's birthday, go karts or not. It's what he likes! MY EDIT: Andrew's Bday is 18th July.
  22. My advice, don't do it! Read the notice carefully, you can only travel to and from place of repair. If you are caught driving, particularly at night, you will get more headaches you don't need. Let's not even enter in to the fact that silly canary shouldn't even be there....
  23. Gee, alcohol and strippers, not sure if I could cope with that. It might be 10:30 and past my bedtime, or my wife might divorce me for looking at breasts. No, wait, that's not me, that's your OTHER friends.
  24. Look at it this way Matt, they say every tenth on your 60' is worth two tenths at the other end, so even with a 2.2 60' you're looking at 12's. Must find the positive!
  25. Put your cursor over the star... it says "Steve donates, do you?"
