  1. Yeah, big HP and FWD are a scary combination. Remember Nightcrawler test driving a hotted up turbo cordia many moons ago, me in the passenger seat, and this thing hitting boost and swapping lanes on us in the blink of an eye! Never again I said.
  2. Drop the .au www.exhausttechnology.com
  3. When? Not Saturday night you won't, we got plans my boy! RIBS, RIBS I TELL YOU!!!
  4. I was told by the copper that defected my Cortina years ago (too low) that suspension was an automatic regency item, as were seatbelts, and other things considered "safety issues" (like wheel spacers etc). Would be nice if there was clearly spelled out legislation, readily available, so it was easy to find out EXACTLY what was and wasn't ok, so there was no confusion, and maybe some consitency (as it seems everyone wants).
  5. Time to go hunting for Crawlers of the Night!
  6. Gimme a date and I'll let you know interest then. Diggy is massive!
  7. Plenty hoist available at Boost Worx Pawley, so that part is easy.
  8. You bring out his competitive side Matt, not that it is very hard to do! Last time we went, IIRC, you two were consitently in the low 29s, with Andrew MIGHTY shi_tty when Matt pulled a high 28!
  9. What's your quickest lap Matty??? Time to blow your own trumpet!
  10. I find this pretty rich from a guy who I have seen drive twice - once crashing in to a car while arriving at a dyno day (and didn't even offer to pay for the damage), and the other doing a big burnout on departure from the same dyno day, while residents were already out the front of their houses. It seems to me you fit that very category you complain about, and quite well. Don't throw stones if you live in a glass house.
  11. Very nice, I'll be circulating that one.
  12. I'm not 100% sure on that one Andrew. 15 years ago - (1989) VN commodore, fitted standard. (1989) EA Falcon, fitted standard. SO, it MAY actually be a requirement. 15 years old may be newer than you are thinking. Would be interested to find out about that one for sure.
  13. My queen bed is in my room and either of the 200s is fine with me, depends on other passengers. Will have to razz up diggs as well, get blind and chant about how massive the jungle is!
  14. I'm there, we're both wifeless that weekend, so let the debauchery and depravity begin! Shotgun passenger seat in one of the 200s, and also shotgun MY BED!
  15. Shite I'm afraid Matty - was too dark. Spewin, but looking forward to seeing the "**** YOU, CLOSE THE DRAGS WILL YOU!?!?!" exit vid.
  16. Post a thread BIATCH! I'm there, and the beanie is MINE I tell's ya all! Oh, BTW - no-one is allowed to have sex with any of Andrew's pets - he had a bad experience with that once!
  17. DO IT MATTY, YOU KNOW YOU WANT IT! And how exactly did you fry this clutch MattR? Hope you got it on vid!
  18. Now, how did I know you would say that Matty???
  19. Yep, leaded fuels on government roads are a BIG no-no. EPA have a field day with it. As you say, where will they get the extra cash? Probably by putting the rest of our fuel up too! Would still love further clarification re the stoppage of selling LRP, even though it is of no consequence to me.
  20. You should ask, "how much is the fine for using avgas on the road these days?" FARKING HUGE, and it is piss easy to spot. I'd be taking the toluene route myself. I still think it's odd about them stopping selling LRP - that was a scam anyway. The higher price of "super" was supposedly a "lead tax", then when it changed to LRP, no more lead, still more exxy. I'd like to hear what their suggestions for pre ULP cars are now, but it is probably "get them off the road".
  21. It comes down to the assesor really, and how hard they want to try to get out of the claim. If your car is in a state that renders it illegal under the laws of the state you are driving it in, then driving your car is an illegal activity. Your policy will contain a clause stating that they reserve the right to void the policy if being used for illegal activity. This means that, if you have an atmo BOV in SA, your insurance company CAN void your policy. Not saying that they will, but it is within their rights, as they state to you in the disclosure statement.
  22. http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php...light=hand+held Has a bit of a discussion there, for the purposes you would want them for.
  23. As I mentioned to you previously Lee, the ls1 blokes reckon that the 0.5W ones really aren't powerful enough to be a great use, and are very easily interrupted by hills or trees. The "up to 5km range" thing tends to refer to flat ground in the desert! I'll have a search on ls1.com.au to find the threads again.
  24. Now THAT I can't wait to see!
