If you're concerned about legality, don't get the cams at all, they will make the car just as illegal as an ECU upgrade.

I've always considered "rice" to be a car that's modded only for looks, and usually not particularly tastefully or over the top, like big "pram handles" on Excels, altezza lights etc. IMO there'e nothing "rice" about a 240Z.

Yep Joel, 320 meg. Makes sense really, the 8800GTS is about the same spot in the lineup as the 7900GT was when I bought it.

Well my replacement card for the 7900GT came in yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised... it was an 8800GTS! Lucky me!

Biggest problem that I know of for guys that have done dual monitor setups for gaming, is that FPS games have the crosshair split between the two screens, which made gameplay virtually impossible. 3 screens might be better for that!

Remember that with an R33 the eye level brake light is in the spoiler, so that's something else to consider. The last thing you want to do is give an easily spottable reason for you to be pulled over and defected. I like the stealth wings personally, as I think 33's with no wing look a bit funny as others have mentioned.

LMAO! With 3 weeks left in my warranty, my card started to do this very thing. Has been accepted for replacement, now I justhave to wait for a new card. On the bright side, the guys at the store said the last guy that they sent one away for ended up with a 7950 instead as they didn't have any more 7900s.

I disagree with it being a steal Pauly. It's reasonably priced, but not a steal. A 320 meg 8800GTS is a very close match overall and these can be had new for around $420.

I swear "your mob" never take enough tax out. The wife keeps getting a bill too. Will have to get them to take out extra for this year, it's way easier to deal with a few less dollars each month.

It would be the least likely thing to be defected for if it didn't comply. I'm not even sure what regs a sump has to comply with, but as it's a sealed unit it wouldn't be related to emissions. WAY more likely to be defected for something like an exhaust.
