  1. You can buy decent R33 GTR Vspecs for high 20s these days - I know someone who sold one and someone who bought one in this 25-30k price range.
  2. So much for "lifestyle changes" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. My only complaint (apart fromt he ride height which is alredy sorted) is the rim widths. I reckon you'll regret 7.5" front and 8" rear - widest you can legally go now is 245 on the rear, and having had 255s before I'd say you'll notice the difference especially with your new power. I'd be interested to see how you find the change in handling with skinnier fronts than you're used to as well. Rims suit the car to the ground though, and I know how long you've wanted that style of wheel. In the back of my mind, I can hear something about "stock" but I can't remember what it is.......
  3. Any modification that can potentially alter the emissions of the vehicle from stock (which includes any intake and exhaust mods) is illegal UNTIL you can prove that it complies with regulations. If you are worried about your car not being 100% legal, then it should stay 100% stock. If you are worried about actually being DEFECTED for things, then choose mods that aren't glaringly obvious.
  4. The thing that shits me is that my 20 gig 8M ADSL 1 plan is the same price asn the 40 gig ADSL2+ plan. I wish I could get 2+ out in the sticks.
  5. $10 extra for me on the 20 gig 8M plan.
  6. Don't know if this is any use now, but I believe Nightcrawler still has some rims to suit an S15.
  7. Looks like he was running a pretty serious FI setup, anyone have any details?
  8. Consider an ECU remap in the R32. I'm not sure who still does them these days though.
  9. Not in the R32 Andz, they were turbo just like the 2wd versions. Mini GTR!
  10. How can they call it "Hot chick teaches pool" if they never show her face? Big cans, or a smoking body does not a hot chick make.
  11. I think he's suggesting if it's been complianced but NEVER registered before it will need the full check.
  12. That's funny, it works fine with one device but not another - sounds like a device issue rather than the router. My net connection is rock solid.
  13. I've had good experiences with netgear stuff too. While I haven't used a WIDE range of stuff, the products I've used have always perfomed as I'd expect them to, with no issues. That's all I really ask for in hardware, and for the price I'd recommend them. This is usually the part where 5000 people chime in with "XYZ is so much better", and while they may be, until I find a product doesn't do something I need, it doesn't need changing.
  14. Happy Birthday Ben and Andy. Hope you all get what you want all day long.
  15. It's a nice budget box for sure, but by the time you add the extra ram, a decent power supply and case, (and lets face it why would you run an 88 series card without a decent psu) it becomes $1500.
  16. What will he use the machine for? Desktop apps only, or is there likely to be some gaming in there?
  17. MSI would be bottom of that list for me too.
  18. That Cressida is a weapon, watched it run low tens all weekend at Heathcote a couple weeks ago. A real credit to the boys involved in that one. Stealthy.
  19. That Cressida is a weapon, sure surprised a few at the LS1 nationals. Few surprise packages from SA, if only we had a track to race on.
  20. They really suit the rest of the car. Well done!
  21. Hopefully you got some better traction there on the Sunday after two days of rubber being laid. Heaps of traction problems for the serious cars there this weekend. That thing is a weapon, and it's only a matter of time for the 9. If we'd known you were going to be there racing, Nightcrawler and myself might have hung around to see you run. There WAS a 9 run there by a blue skyline that weekend though...
  22. Bothof those are requirements, and in SA we also have "eyebrow height" requirements to deal with also, as contained in information bulletin 44 for vehicles later than 1970. This falls under the "bump rubber clearance" classification.
  23. Skyline GTR June 91- Front - 375mm Rear - 355mm
  24. Looks like Nowak only ever got Bill Russo involved once he'd farked the whole thing up already. The judge said he felt sorry for Russo and his associates due to being used by Nowak to try and get out of a mess. I can see just by the small mentions of him in the judgement that Bill Russo is a very smart businessman. (if his success didn't already suggest that) Things like the requirement of a "clean" company with no trading history for him to be involved in the venture. Sounds like it would be best for us all if he were to end up owning the track, but these proceedings won't end up that way. Here's hoping that an alternative can still see him end up with it.
  25. Later on the judge basically suggests that half the paperwork he's provided was not actually prepared on the dates he says it was, and says it's pretty much one step from fraud. Gives him nil credibility.
