Hi all. I've almost finished my rb30dett build and am missing parts from my rb25 gearbox. When I bought it, it only had the throw-out fork. I figure im only missing the throw out bearing & throwout bearing carrier. Any idea if these parts are compatible from other gearboxes? The part number for the throwout bearing seems to cross reference a few other nissan gearboxes.

Im doing the conversion on the cheap.. Im not looking at making big power yet, just trying to build something that works. Ill be changing over to a DET head a bit later on. I dont know much about aftermarket parts for the RB30 - Every aftermarket intake manifold seems to have siamesed ports at the end to feed a DOHC head, not SOHC. I cant seem to find anything to suit the RB30E head? Cheers. edit - just searching those names you mentioned.. thanks - waaaaay pricey though

Hi Guys. I've just dropped an RB30 into my 280zx. The intake manifold only JUST fouls on the bonnet. Anyone know where/how I can get an intake that will have either a slightly shorter mounting height? Im considering using the bottom half of the plenum and having a box welded on top. Thanks in advance.

1) Can someone tell me what the sensor in the red box is for? 2) The oil pressure sender is not in my wiring diagram for the rb30 - Can anyone confirm that the the oil pressure sensor is located driver side, mid rear bottom of the block with a large soft rubber boot? Thanks in advance guys!
