Ok, i have the ecu wiring chart, i know where the thing is, but, what i want to know, is there an easy way to get to the ECT to attach a SAFC2 other then cutting into the carpet?

Just a quick question, what are these short shifters i keep seeing advertised, and do they do anything for performance?? Also i came accross a website a while ago that had a flash animation of an R34 and you could put different rims on it and lower it, change the colour etc.... anyone know what i am going on about? if so cna you post the link.

yeah the towel trick is a good one.... i put a towel over my 7X10 in my Datsun and had no problems..... Ok not no problems, i did have another head unit stolen, but they left the speakers... and the amp under the seat, i think they were more interested in choosing which cd's they wanted to steal.

obviously you would take the dog out for the drags.....he can sit by the track side and take care of my spare tyre and subbies that i would have taken out to reduce weight.

i am up for the stake out and gang bashing meet....i have wanted to sit on top of the Menzies building (Biggest at Monash) with a nice big rifle and scope and take out any **** breaking into any car. I had an old 78 Datsun Skyline, it was a shit car, but had a sick system, in first year i had the head set stolen from the gravel carpark, then about 3 months later i had the 7x10's taken from the roof of the multilevel carpark. Then to make things worse a prick crashed into me so it meant i could only sell the thing for $650 in the end.... now i am driving my r33 there i must be ****ing crazy. It is just too much fun driving ther in the morning, and coming home at night not to. The other plan was to get a German Shepheard and have him live in the backseat of my car, permenently.... i would like to see some dirty little clayton muther fuc*er smack head try to break in with a 90kg attack dog in the back

It will be at Calder park one friday night.... dont know exacly when we have to organise that shit... and scrape together the $55 competitor fee, remember i just got my car and am still trying to afford insurance, and he just spent $35g so he will never have spare cash again anyone want to give me $10,000 so i can make my car really fast...... words like hi-flow, Power FC, and front mount intercooler come to mind..... money is my only obstacle..

I have a little problem.... My mate just bought a 2000 model R8 clubsport and is convinced it is faster then my R33 so we are taking them down to Calder to see for sure. The problem is i dont want to look like a fool if he destroys me.... any one have any ideas on how it will go? here are the specs: R33: series 1, lowered, air filter, exhaust system (3.5"), boost up to 12psi. R8: Stock, 250Kw, Auto I recon he is in trouble but want to get some opinions from people who have run against similar cars.

Just a quick question, i was hoping for some opinions on how long to set my turbo timer at. I have been given advice from 1 min to 6 mins. I also have a 3 1/2" exhaust so it is bloody loud sitting in my carport, so late at night i usually only have it going for 1 min, is this bad?

when i got my new car about 3 weeks ago, it came with a remote and 2 keys, one big one that operates the ignition and the boot, and the glove box, and another tiny little one. originally i thought this was for the chrome wheel covers but then i discovered a mysterious black box in the engine bay in the top left corner (closest bit to the driver) which had a little rubber cover and a key hole under it, where my little key fits perfectly...... Is this a standard Skyline thing? or is for my imobaliser or something else?

My mate wants to get a RX7 but keeps finding cool ones that are non-turbo..... my question is, is it possible to bolt a turbo onto a non-turbo standard engine.... and if so how much will it cost and is it a pain in the arse? thanks

What sort of power up are we talking about for say $1000 and will i need to do anything else to the engine to cope with the extra kw?

I was talking to my commodore loving boss the other day and he was telling me how much turbo cars benefit from racing chips, and / or computer.... being a bit stupid when it comes to stuff like that i was wondering if this was true, and if so how much performance for how many dollars will one of these chips/ compters give me??

Thanks for replying guys it has been real helpful... BTW i just got those 7X10's in with about 5 mm to spare above the battery brackets..... so anyone who tells you it is impossible is a lying bitch who just cant be shagged doing some actual work, but it sounds sick now.
