DJ: Yeah, i know that the stalling and backfiring is cause the air isn't going back past a certain sensor or something like that ( if someone want's to increase my knowledge, feel free)... How do you mean you had a full-atmo BOV tuned?... I know with the GFB BOV's you can adjust them so they'll only go off over certain revs etc... but i still get the (very) occasional 'pop' out the exhaust... NO WHERE NEAR as bad as some cars i've heard that make a huge cracking backfire EVERY gear change.... (that'd just give me the shits to be honest)...

Also: ihavn't looked at the page yet so maybe i should but i thought: *Logically nitrous oxide contains oxygen (thus oxide)... *the mix was used to cool the intake temperature down Thus, the nitrous oxide does a few things: *Cools the air teperature *In doing so, makes the air denser, which means there's more of it and it fires better *increases the oxygen levels.... is this somewhere near the mark or do i have no idea what-so-ever about what i'm saying and i should shut up now to avoid further embarassment??? cheers, Dave.

yeah, i think it's just FMIC's make the flutter louder... as does a metal intake pipe.... hmmm... might just keep tighteneing the bov and see how far i can have it set without big stalling and backfiring issues....

Bleach1: your exactly the kinda person we need.... I used to do all my servicing on my old car ('86 N12 Pulsar... lol)... but as you can understand there's a huge difference between that and the 'line... so we need ppl like you to show us how it's done...

Yep, I knew all that man... the turbo might be replaced this year so not overly concerned there... Af far as taking the BOV off... that is what i wanted someone to say so i could ask the next question... With no BOV (please only speak from experience, not theory)... Do you get that crappy backfiring? Do you get that stalling problem? Cheers...

it's not gonna matter if cops see them because they're not hooked up to your engine... "it's only a purge function for shows officer, would you like to see it?"...

Yeah, my Hybrids set to about 3000RPM; never had any dramas with it there so i might up it a lil bit and see how it goes each time i adjust it... cheers.

oh, ok then... thanks for that... So, is there a way to make a gts-t (R32) flutter without stalling and backfiring?... I know you can change the computer set-up but that's about $2K so stuff that... other than that i can adjust my BOV right up (GFB Hybrid).... how will this go with stalling and backfiring?... anyone know?... (and yes.. i know this sounds like a stupid thread but hey... i like flutter)... lol

what's a website where i can look at those rectangle shaped things that spray the intercooler? the one's with the purge function....? I've seen it on the net before but don't have the link anymore...

Hey guys... I've seen 2 different 180's in the last 2 weeks, both must be running without BOV's... What turbo do they use (i'm guessing it's std. as they both sounded identical) and what makes their 'flutter' sound so damn good? I know this is one of those personal opinion things and a lot of people will say flutter is bad and sounds crap...etc. But yeah, i like the sound of a 180's flutter... Also, how can you get flutter without the backfiring?....

I Can"t see a problem with it just as long as the doors are secure (not gonna fall off), they open, they close and they lock.... but it's a good question when you think about it...

I've got a guide to installing scissor doors at home... i don't know if you can use the standard hinges?.... but you can get replacement ones for it... you also have to change the striker pins around so the door will actually close etc...

yeah, i reckon it looks good... i'd be interested to see how much it would be to get done...

Also, on the left and the right, below the headlight level, and just in from the head lights are 2 disk-like things..... what are they?... mine are sitting in the middle, one above the other...??? (sorry for hijacking)...

Just a little update: I have informed the police about the cruise (we're probably expecting around 50 cars)... so this way there'll be minimum/NO problems.... I know i don't have to tell you guys this but: anyone who's caught acting illegally/unsocially will be disowned from the group and probably reported.... Hmmmm... i'm just a bit worried (as stupid as it sounds knowing something will happen at some stage)... I don't wanna hurt my car ..... is it likely to get through a day without breaking something? (+ driving there and back)???
