still might have 3 cars in it for ya, just need to see prices first... I'd go for the darkest legal one i can have on R32 GTS-t (ie pre 94 limits)... I think i'd go the more reflective one too... that's the quantum isn't it?.... The other 2 cars, not sure but can ask when i get a price...

what about this bit in particular... the sun visor isn't such a big problem because as someone said it may say "if this vehicle is fitted with an SRS airbag..."..... I am more curious about the 2 airbag sensor lookie things behind the front bumper.....

Ok guys, I know my car doesn't have airbags (least i think i know)... there's no room... 1992 R32 GTS-t... The drivers side flip down sun visor thingy has a labe that says SRS airbags... (could have been replaced easy)... but at the front there is (what looks to be) 2 airbag sensors...... I thought it was an ambient sensor but there's 2 and they look like airbag sensors????.... can someone maybee post a pic of what the front should look like? cheers, Dave.

BIGBLOCKR31COUPE: Apology accepted, and yes i agree, my original post was not as clear as it could have been... I also feel passionate about the subject but have not caused injury to anyone else (luckily)... although, before i was even on my l's... I was in an accident with my brother (who still drives like a maniac to this day) which wrote off 2 cars, snapped my collar bone and did damage to a number of other parts of my body... It was the most scary thing i have ever encountered as i did think i was going to die that night... spend 6hrs in a hospital in emergency, had a few x-rays, a lot of morphene and couldn't go back to school for about 4-6 weeks (which was a lil bit of an upside)... so you can see why i, too, am passionate about the subject and get easily pissed off when people say things like that - no offence... cheers mate.

I think it was way too harsh considering everyone here posts about a close call until someone young posts and all of a sudden they're an idiot!!! i'm not proud of the incident and i learned that i had to be more carfull in a high powered rear wheel drive car when cornering.... time spent well...

Well hos this for ya: The two lanes can BOTH turn right, into the TWO lanes in the intersection and the TWO lanes in the street that they are turning into.... get the point?.... SO I MADE THE TURN IN THE LEFT LANE RATHER THAN DOING 50000 LANE CHANGES!!! all that happened was i went into second too fast (not being used to a new car) and the car slid out).... This happened way before i even got on these forums so how would i know of MINES_DATSUN's experience??? hmmm... Sitting at traffic lights in left lane, ready to turn right.... car in right lane.... light goes green... take off... lil fast (nothing drastic, no wheel spin etc).... accelerate, hit second (on boost).... realise you hit second on boost, while turning as the rear kick out..... hold a nice 90 degree slide for 2 seconds.... tap down brakes and slide quickly to a stop, still at 90 degrees, BETWEEN 2 CONCRETE ISLANDS!!!! OMG, how the f*** did i not touch them or the cars behind, beside me?!?!?!?! kick self in heap, drive home, kick self again and tell self not to ever do that in skyline again!!!!

As stated above, this is what you have to do.... trust me i am going through a similar situation at the moment... If the dealer has sold the car with a roadworthy certificat then it must be roadworthy... so the people who replaced the shocks would have to say it's unroadworthy... (get a written statement).... Ring DOFT or lodge a claim through CTTT with copies off all documents (sale sheets, road worthy papers, repair invoice, statement saying the car was unroad worthy)... thy'll contact you and sort it out from there... lodging it through the CTTT costs about $30 but their decision is final and legally binding.... cheers.

unbolt it, plug up the rubber hose for the plumback. then bolt down a flat bit of metal to seal the hole where the BOV came from.... i think that's all...???...

Hey that's a bit unfair.... I'm on my greens (19) and have an R32 GTS-t which is my pride and joy.... (ie i don't go thrashing it around)... yes i give it a good squirt everynow and then (as we all do!) but i don't think just cause i'm young i should be banned from having a nice car... I appreciate my car for what it is. (A SKYLINE!) I appreciate the look, the feel and yes, the power... but that doesn't mean i abuse it.... Maybee an exam to drive cars over a certain limit... or set exams for set limits (and even pre-requisits eg driver training etc...) but not total banning.... Just my 2c... Don't label us all the same because of a few unappreciative d***heads...

yeah, all the sounds are normal man, don't stress... and the mitsubishi logo is normal too (VERY unfortunately)... lol There's another thread that refers to the mitsu logos... it's cause mitsubishi make a lot of electronics etc.... there'll be a logo on the black thing infront of your cam gear cover too... (can't memba the name of it, mental blank....) so yeah, sounds are normal... it's just presurised air traveling around... go and enjoy....

Sorry, poor wording.... cops will defect you because it vents to atmosphere cause they don't know/understand about the emissions etc... So i figure, whak a lil filter on the baby and say "it doesn't vent to atmosphere, that lil filter filters it out so only good air goes to the atmosphere"... lol... also make it a lil more subtle....

There are some conditions... They MUST slow down at all intersections, an the limits depend on the surroundings.... like, a street would have a different limit to the freeway, for obvious reasons.....

A cold engine... any cold engine will do this, it just has to warm up....

as long as you keep the same rolling diametre she'll all be sweet... having said that... ask a wheel shop and they can direct you to places that can reconfigure speedo's etc if need be....

Does this make it easier?.... all the other stuff was just there to fill space and sell the car... So basically you're looking at a standard GTS-4 (if it's 4WD), new tyres (standard), and alarm (price an alarm system that you'd like), a stacker system (bout $400 easy) and a 2 month warranty The warranty isn't gonna do anything unless something goes wrong in the first 2 mnths/3000 kms (not a lot of time).... Go and look around at yard, on the net and see how much the cars selling for, price the accesorries (stacker + alarm)... see what else is out there (you'll find almost every other one out there has half those k's) and see what you think... spend about an hour surfing the net and then see if you want it. It's all personal preference, i'm not trying to shoot you down or anything, just trying to make it a lil easier to make a decision....
