Yeah, atmo venting BOV's are defectable because of the change to emissions etc.... The only reason you hear so many is because they havn't been caught yet... there are tricks to driving to make your BOV quieter when needed.... EG: * Slowly back off the accelorator for gear changes instead of just lifting your foot off * Tune the BOV so it "flutters" under certain RPM *Drive around cops with low or no boost so that the BOV doesn't go off... etc etc.... Then the only thing you have to worry about is getting pulled over for an RBT and getting defected....

Hmmm... where to start... Had the stereo problem (worked when it wanted) have the climate control proble (as above) Have the boost issue, only goes to 'bout 7 thes goes backwards (foot to floor)... and there's more... but i cbf writing it all and it should all get fixed soon... Also: i can feel air flow through the door handes (inside the car).... what's the go there....

I want it as dark as i can have it (92 R32 GTS-t ; 98 Falcon; 97 Falcon) All legal pleez.... don't need the attention...

i've neva seen my HICAS light some on... (R32 GTS-t).... would it come on at all during driving or only if there's a prob (eg low fluid)?....

Ok guys, I need to have the car diagnosed and a quote to fix... where should I go? (mechanics)... I live in Hornsby so it has to be close to home, has to operate on weekends too... Also, while im at it... any good air-con places?... same as above... cheers.

stock boost on R32 = 10PSI.... i used to think 7 but was corrected, then installed boost guage and found out definately 10....

Jeez, you guys have inspired me again... If my air-con made this noise then it would be "faulty" or not "fully functional" wouldn't it???? Wooo-hooo! I can ad that to my list when i give the DOFT my letter

you won't get an "apartment" there.... newcastle's not a highly developed city.... You can get apartments in town... but don't!.... Rent a house in "Jesmond". This will put you within a 5-15min walking distance from the Uni. There are a lot of houses to rent there because the market is based on uni students... I havn't lived there since april but you could probably get a nice 3 bd room hous for about $150 a week....(beleive it or not)... You could also rent with other uni students to make it cheaper.... There is also a shopping centre and basically everything you'll need in Jesmond (all 5-15 mins walk) so it's the area to go for.... FUSION make a really good 4x6" that will fit straight in, sounds good and keeps that neat stock look....

head gasket???.... why would you go for a new motor?... gaskets are usually only a $10-$20 part... and if it's the one i'm thinking of then you're probably looking at about an hours labour for installs... (about $50ish)..... but i could be thinking of the wrong part.... what did the mechanic say?

The guys from newy get a cruise.... the guys from central coast get to meet up with them at twin caltex (10:am-10:30am) and get a cruise but the sydney ppl meet there????.... WHAT WAS I THINKING!?!?!?! so here's my attempt to right my wrongs... lol (and cruise amongst a ton of lines... All the guys from Sydney.... Meet at thornleigh maccas at 10:15 to depart at 10:30 and we'll all cruise together.... silly me!.... lol... For more details just ask... Cheers

Sorry, my bad, i was relying on my memory.... it actually says the hybrid has a higher venting capacity... and i wasn't arguing over who's was louder i was just trying to keep you're knowledge up to date.... but as we can see i was wrong...

Sorry to chop you mate but GFB quote themselves that the hybrid is louder... along with a lot of others they make.... You can also adjust them so it goes off later so that you can drive around and just have it flutter under certain RPMs (as i do with my GFB Hybrid)....

Nah, I have to say... Dempo's car is my favourite falcon 'cause everything (so far) has been done properly and with a lot of time and consideration... Only problem is if he keeps on going i'll HAVE to juice up the line to keep infront of him... Not all bad when you think about it though...

Might ring DOFT again about them.... My G/F was there with me so there's a witness.... She also said he made a few comments and swore at me when I wasn't listening so.... If he's gonna be a real pain in the ar5e then i might just ring ACA... that'll hurt him....
