I have to agree with the generalisation that Safra made.... I dislike teachers on principle but i have met a few really top notch teachers in my life that are very decent people... mind you i can count the number of those teachers on one hand...

doesn't the car always pop and back fire when u block the return off?... i drove next to a 200sx the other week that was doing this and i don't know how you guys can stand it... ?

Yeah, i always thought flutter was that wonderous sound of compressor surge where the turbo is beight forced in the oposite direction (no actually spinning the other way just chopping the air as the air tries to spin it....(just as owned was describing)...

I work in IT and i don't have a GTR?!?!?... then again, i live away from home, rent is soon to be $250 p/week (between me and my g/f), and i do own a schmik R32 GTS-t which is slowly getting modded but the best part... I was only 18 when i bought it! (i am 19 now (i bought it in june).... So yeah,m i guess IT is the way to go then...

benm: I payed $71.70 for my rear bendix pads about a week or two ago.... (Auto one)... mine are the advance i think....(soft)

Other than that i've seen a stock-as-a-rock R31 baring a GTR badge front and back....

yeah, i'm in the same boat as you... i'm a skyline man through and through these days.... Also, if it helps.... i'm pretty sure the z32 300zx's run the same pads (could only be rear though so don't quote me).... that might make them easier to find....

I just went to the local Auto1 and got a set of bendix pads... so yeah, just pop down the local whatever, you don't need a special sort but don't expect them to be on the shelves in vast quantaties.... the sad fact is, you own an imported skyline... parts are a lil harder to get than just picking it off the shelf (usually)... but i'm sure you already know that....

Ok, so i'm guessing i'll be taking out the floor in the passenger foot well and looking for that wire then?... then what would you suggest i spliced the +ve wire into? If i connect it to the ciggi lighter will it work without a switch?.... I've only ever hooked the neons up through that wire.....

Ok, i know the sensor your talking about now.... might be fun to get to... lol.... blind_elk: when you say to hook the power off the On posi (i'm guessing the ignition switch)... how do i get in there (neva been there on this car)... just take the steering casing off? which wire? (colours etc)... thanks again.

a boot lid that didn't come with a spoiler for an R32 GTSt??? If so, I am looking for one in the mica black and will be willing to swap mine (with spoiler)... Just curious as to whether or not it's avaliable, how much i am looking at etc.... cheers. Dave.

Hey guys, my mate gave me a lil led display that you wire up as an air/fuel ratio display.... The wires are: positive, negative and O2 sensor.... Ok, so the first 2 are a piece of piss.... actually, should i wire the positive throu accessories (cigi-lighter cable) or straight to battery? or other?.... now, the question i an totally stuffed on.... the O2 wire.... where and how??? all help appreciated... diagrams are excellent.... cheers. Ok, now you guys are really confusing me.... I wanna put a FMIC on my R32 GTS-t... I wanna get to about 200rwkw so i don't need a top of the line super dooper cooler.... i was simply wondering if a GTR cooler will do the trick.... or would i be better with an aftermarket?... what do i look for in a cooler?... cheers.

But when you cruise off-boost then your actually MORE efficient than your NA counter part due to the different vacuum ratio's in the engine.... That's why whenever i go from syd-newcastle and back i basically run off the oil on the road ... don't use boost and the petrol guage doesn't budge! (on the freeway) ... and no, my guage is not faulty either...people who understand the mechanics will know what i'm trying to say in my poor wording... lol

Are you sure? i thought rexies had an internal one of some sort?... should be able to make the stock go to atmo... just remove the rubber tube that goes from the bov to the turbo (the big one)... that should do the trick...(dunno honestly but that's what i'd try)... Also, to block it off, take it out and cover the whole with a flat metal plate... the two above raise the issue that i asked in my previous post... Will no BOV cause stalling and backfire????
