looking for a skyline

hi guys. i have just moved from melbourne to adelaide. i have to get a regular service for my skyline. which place can u people suggest? i live at prospect and work in the city, so any place nearby would be great for me. also i noticed today that my rpm meter is flicking off big time. it used to work properly before. today i noticed that it justs flicks back-and-forth big time even for a small push of the accelerator. hope someone can help me out.

after installing sub and amp, ABS light is on all the time. never had this problem before installing sub and amp. can anyone plz help!!!!!!!!!!!! by the way my car is R33 s2.

does anyone has a NISMO "3 INCH FROM CAT BACK 5 INCH CARBON FIBRE TIP" Exhaust? the model number is 20100-RN591. i wanted to know whether it is EPA legal and it has any drone to it? my R33 is stock standard. planning to buy it second hand. i m after an exhaust which sounds a bit more than stock. attaching a few pics as well.

i went to an exhaust shop today and said that i wanted a an exhaust which sounds more than the stock R33. the guy there said that he had a recent swap of a japanese one. and showed a JASMA stamped exhaust(just the exhaust from the cat- not the whole system) and said that its real good and blah blah. he said that its worth $800 and i may have to buy a resonator as well which will cost $150 more. i m a bit new to skylines(just bought mine last week) but i was thinking that i can atleast get a decent catback system for about $800-$1000. am i wrong or the exhausts that expensive? by the way that guy was telling i felt he was trying to rip me off. any help will be appreiciated.

i have recently bought an R33 Gtst and it is completely stock. i want my exhaust to sound a little bit more. i cannot replace the whole exhaust system as of now. but would like to change the muffler. where should i look to buy the muffler in Melbourne (preferably south eastern suburbs) and which brand? i also want to get a pod filter. which brand is good and where to look for them and installation of both the muffler and pod filter? my budget for the muffler and pod filter is around 400-500 with the installation. will this be enough? if i want to change the whole exhaust system how much would i have to spend? i am totally new to skylines, any help would be appreciated. thanks vinny

i had an alpine unit previously. so i bought a new alpine unit and connected the exact same wires to the new unit. yellow to yellow, etc. what should i do now?

i have just installed a new alpine head unit in my R33 s2. the head unit works alright, but the clock on the dash seems to be resetting itself every time when i start my car. even my head unit pushes the cd out and is in off-mode every time i restart my car. the previous head unit was also an alpine. did i do something wrong with the installation? help needed.

i have already bought 1. Alpine head unit (CDE-100EUB) 2. speakers type-s (sps-600) 240watt peak----80watts Rms 3. speakers type-s (sps-600c) 240watt peak----80watts Rms and i have a budget of around 600-800 to buy amp/sub(if possible)+installation of the whole system. if i buy a kicker sub 12" 375watt and a kicker 100amp RMS bridged amp will it work well with my above system? suggest me how to proceed from here. what amp to buy or what sub to buy? and also the cost of installation+wiring for the above system.

has anyone done their tinting with tint professor or tint-a-car? i have read a couple of bad reports about tint professor, but it has some good reviews as well. so i want some help in choosing a tinter.

i have an Xanavi XA-N2 birdview navigation system in my R33. when i open the screen it shows map something in japanese. i donot need the gps to work(if it works its fine). but i would to love to use the screen to watch movies or videos. is there anyone in melbourne who can repair it?
