  1. Places like Pirtek and Enzed have it, I don't think it's cheap though.
  2. I don't think there's any real need to buy a suit for events like that, suits are pretty expensive. You'd be fine wearing jeans and a long cotton shirt or similar. Like I said before, something that covers your neck a bit is good, if you are using a harness it can rub and become sore.
  3. What sort of racing are you doing?
  4. I just wear jeans, normal shoes (vans) and a light long sleeve cotton jumper. And helmet/gloves. I find I need to wear something that wraps around my neck properly or my harness can rub on my skin, by the end of the day it gets pretty sore.
  5. Good idea, I thought of that, checked and didn't know about the different sizes required. "Main roll bars and lateral rolls bars - 44.45mmx 2.5mmor 50 x 2.0mm" "Lateral half roll bars and other parts of the safety cage - 38mmx 2.5mmor 40mmx 2.0mm" Thanks!
  6. Hey Brad, I know it would be covered before, but I'm having trouble finding the info. What size tube are all the cages made from? How thick are the walls? Thanks.
  7. It seems like this could be a good turn out, how many people are we expecting?
  8. +1 for 265/35r18. Some tyres (Like RSR) are a bit 'wider' than other tyres of the same size, be careful of this.
  9. It's not a big deal. Camber, try between -2.0 to -3.5, see what you like best Castor, I'd put as much as you can without the wheel rubbing on the front guard/front bar Toe is more subjective, some people like toe out, some toe in. There is no definitive wheel alignment for every drift car in the world, it's subjective, some top drifters swear by toe out but I don't like it. For rear, I'd just set it up so you get the best tyre wear.
  10. I don't have to work this Sunday, and my Skyline should actually be working with rego - what a rare combination! I'll be there for sure.
  11. No. http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator
  12. Camber - start with -3.0 and go from there Toe - this is subjective, some people swear by toe out for drift, some toe in. I've tried both and like 1mm total toe in best, I can't comment for you. Caster - lots.
  13. Hi, Do you have a picture of the seat and handbrake?
  14. You don't need anything, you can just go to a shopfront and get a UVP Might be able to do it over the phone/internet too.
  15. It is low, but not thaaaat low.. Could you remove the bottom locking collar from the rear coilovers? Might give you an extra 5-8mm or so.
  16. As GTSBoy said, might be as simple as breaking the bead, rotating the tyre and having another go. Tyres have an orientation on a rim, look on your tyre to see red or green dots/markings, this tells the tyre fitter where to put the tyre (red dot near the valve, etc) I've had balance pretty far out before, tried rotating the tyre a few times and got it down to 40grams.
  17. Did the person fitting the tyres try rotating them on the rim?
  18. What was the 'wet' temperature rating? And how much did it cost?
  19. Please put me next in line for the wheels, I will take them
  20. I'm interested in front pair, if you ever decide to split
  21. Does anyone know where I might find some M12x1.25 fine thread nyloc or cone nuts? To use on the bolts which connect the coilover to the knuckle on S13. Tried specialty fasteners, they didn't have any.
  22. I thought you wanted a street legal tyre? True semi slick tyres are not going to be road legal Seeing as we've been talking about Federal, here are some pictures. (There are many more tyres to choice from other than Federal, this is just for an example) FZ201 - Not road legal Federal 595-RSR - Road legal
