  1. Did you do the nuts up with a torque wrench and use some threadlock of some sort?
  2. That would be fine mate, 30 metres knocks off a lot of sound, you'd be surprised. Side note: A friend of mine has asked if other cars are allowed to enter? He has a commodore. Cheers.
  3. Great news mate. My clutch was started today, they said they will have it finished by Wednesday, so with a bit of luck I'll put it in this weekend.
  4. Could I come round and take a loot at the intercooler mate?
  5. Noted, thanks mate.
  6. Damn, maybe one day at each? First world problems!!
  7. Wait.. Isn't the Wakefield Matsuri on 12-13th?

So are we meeting up before hand? Or do we just meet there?
  15. What's the problem mate?
  16. Sweet, thanks man. That is all sorted then. I will just get it machined when I pull all the old gear out Cheers for the help.
  17. Thanks for that mate. Are the people in Mitchell called M&A Engineering? I'm not sure about having it lightened, my friend suggested I look into it, I don't know much about it.
  18. Hello all, I am getting a new clutch which should be here next week and I want to get it in as soon as I can. Does anyone know a good place to have my flywheel machined? And a rough idea how much it costs? I am unsure about having it lightened, can anyone shed any light on this? Cheers, Anthony.
  19. Thanks for the help guys. I ended up taking it to a shop and getting them to do it, an expensive experience for $55 but still, I wasn't having any luck at home and didn't want to harm the turbo. Cheers.
  20. Yep, you just need to rotate it until it lines up. It's very simple.
  21. Hello all, I have a bit of a pickle, I need to rotate my turbo slightly to have the oil drain facing down, rather than to the side - pictures to make things clear You can see the drain is facing diagonally down, not straight down. First of all my problem is the rear housing, I have cracked off the bolts and hit it with some spray to try and loosen the corrosion etc, but I can't get the housing to move. Can anyone suggest anything for this? Or is the oil drain still pointing in such a direction that isn't likely to cause a problem with oil drain? I am new to turbo setups, this is my first, so I am unsure about whether it needs to be pointing straight down or if this is still ok. Cheers, Anthony.
