  1. The thing is, when it was complied it would have had some sort of numberplate on the front, so needs to retain the number plate in the spot is was complied in.
  2. Hi, As the title suggests, I am after a side-mount intercooler, preferably from an R34 GT-T as these appear to be larger than R33/S14 etc. I will be using it for a hopefully stealthy-ish turbo setup on an r31. Cheers, Anthony.
  3. We're in the same boat mate This is my first dry drift day also.
  4. It would be fine, you just need the correct offset, width and tyre size.
  5. They will on the inside of the spokes/hub face mate.
  6. I'm not too sure if R33 GTR is very different to the R32 GTR in relation to balance/feel - but when we had 8/6 in my friend's GTR it was still a bit understeery after the initial turn in, after changing the rear spring to 7kg it felt a lot more neutral, perhaps even a little little bit 'tail happy' if anything, though could be tuned further with the dampers. Just something for thought, perhaps try 6kg front / 5kg rear or something, if you want it comfortable for the street - then dial in the dampers.
  7. 19" Speedy HP Design? 19x8 or 8.5? Mid to high 30's offset?
  8. Thanks for the reply mate. I rebuilt the diff with auto gears (3.9) and a minispool I have S13 front LCA's, hubs, knuckles and brakes (I have R32 brakes on the way, too) S13 HSD HR Coilover 8kg/mm front 7kg/mm rear, I also had some top hat adapters made by a machine shop so I didn't have to redrill the top hat Adjustable panhard rod I have everything except an intercooler for an RB30E+T setup, I have gotten all the parts pretty cheap but perhaps an engine conversion would have been a better plan - at least now I know The interior has been completely stripped back to bare metal, battery into boot and inside painted Aircon gear removed, other bits and pieces removed to save weight where ever possible After the turbo setup goes on (this month) I will start saving for a new clutch, but I have heard a lot of different opinions so I'm a bit unsure here. Cheers, Anthony.
  9. If the offset is +22, no spacers will be required
  10. http://www.initialdrift.com.au/ Depends on things, but I assume you have a CAMS L2NS and a Wakefield licence, so $170 for non members I think mate Would be great if end up entering, would be great to get some pointers about car setup etc from another R31 owner.
  11. Offset may be +22 for the wheels? Will find out tomorrow! Thanks very much mate.
  12. How old is it? Any shaft play? How much boost was run through it? Cheers mate.
  13. Sorry mate!! I love Sparco wheels far too much haha
  14. You can get an ok mild steel tubular manifold from NZ eBay, but the merge isn't a good design, would impede flow on high hp applications. They are pretty cheap though.
  15. I will trade you a commodore stockie and an x-box controller.
  16. Was it this one?

At the moment I think I'd be more keen to come to a Skyline event, I'll just have to arrange a mate to take my daily to the sound competition.

Hmmm I also have Round 3 of the Mobile Electronics Australia stereo competition that day.. Choices and choices..
  19. Looking good mate, nice wiring there. What will the front stage consist of?
  20. By the sounds of it you have more preload on the rear than the front. the lower rate springs (<7kg) have an ~11mm wire diameter, and stiffer (>7kg) have a ~12mm wire diameter.. Just to get you started. Most will have 7 - 7.5 active coils.
  21. Yeah it's the profile but it's a big difference, it's wrong for your car.R or ZR is to do with the speed rating of the tyre, shouldn't really matter in your situation.
  22. You need 205/55R16 from memory, I wouldn't use those 205/40's
