  1. Hey mate, what is the offset? Cheers.
  2. hey mate, whats the offset? Thanks.
  3. Damn, didn't read properly.
  4. If you were changing it on the rear, yes. You may also be able to use a rattle gun, so you can push against the stud instead of pulling down on it. Be careful with a rattle gun, though, very easy to strip the stud.
  5. Is that the guy who parks out the front of domino's in Mawson? There is an r33 GTS with GTR badges, kills me every time I see it.
  6. Price drop, $140 for headunit + speaker package
  7. You should bleed the brakes in the proper order (furthest away from the master cylinder to closest) so RR RL FL FR. Whether you upgrade the master cylinder or not is a personal choice, how does the pedal feel? Are you still getting good braking response?
  8. Thanks, will look into this. I will put the car on stands and give it a thorough inspection, if I can see anything that warrants a proper inspection I will do so. Looks like my worry is unwarranted.
  9. Thanks for the reply, mate. I will get a wheel alignment and compare the print out to my last wheel alignment. My friend who is responsible for the damage had a look at it, and his father (Mechanic engineer) had a look at it, and thought that there was no chance of damage to the coilover, though I'm a bit paranoid as the coilovers cost me 65 hours of work in a cafe to buy!
  10. Hi there, Long story short, a friend of mine crashed my car into a barrier on a mountain (metal barrier on the edge of the road). I don't know how fast the car was going on impact, but it wasn't stupidly fast, <40km/h on impact. The front bar is cracked, guard is bent, filler panel is cracked, and the reo behind the front bar is badly bent. There was a small bend inside the engine bay behind the headlight, and the plastic headlight mounts were cracked. Two days prior to this crash, I installed brand new HSD HR coilovers. My worry is that the impact has damaged my coilovers, I think it is unlikely considering the damage, but I was hoping someone could help me check to be sure. What can I do to check? Remove the coilover, disassemble and push the piston down to ensure it has a smooth stroke? Also visually inspect/check straightness with a ruler? Here is a picture of the exterior damage, my friend is buying me new parts tomorrow to replace the damaged parts. Can anyone shed any experience or help? Many thanks, Anthony.
  11. Sparco NS-II Python I think they are mate. Can you confirm the second stud pattern?

    Abes Tig Work

Awesome work man, I'm very jealous of your skills.
  19. I'd say it would also depend on the type of driving you are doing, for street/touge cars excessive bracing/stiff suspension will be negative for handling, but on track it could help.
  20. Let me know if the brakes sale falls through mate, I could be keen. Cheers.
  21. The last picture where the tyres are cracked, is probably because they are old/hard. I would still use them, but I'd be aware of their condition when driving in the wet, they will offer a lot less grip than newer tyres. http://www.bridgestone.com.au/tyres/passenger/care/age.aspx Take a look at that link, you will be able to check their manufacture date and figure out how old they are. In proper controlled conditions Bridgestone guarantee their tyres for 6 years from manufacture date when stored in proper conditions. The Bridgestone Playz tyres are from Japan, not released in Australia but they look similar perhaps to RE002.
  22. This man is onto it.
  23. If you can find some 23" wheels, you could brag about how expensive the 'Lexani' tyres were.
