  1. They will probably be 8kg front and 6kg rear, you can put stiffer springs in but it could badly effect the life of your dampers. Having said that people still do it. Maybe look at 12kg/mm front and 10kg/mm rear. The ride will be very harsh though, not sure if this is your daily or not.
  2. What are your current spring rates? You're going to want something stiff, be thinking 10kg - 14kg
  3. Unfortunately they are removed from car. I've been trying to work out what I can check, but short of removing the strut top and checking the stroke of the shock, I can't think of anything else.
  4. Hello all, Happy Christmas Eve etc I am looking at buying some second hand coilovers (JIC Magic) from an S14 (For the front of my R31). I understand the basic things to check such as leaking seals, dints or scratches on the piston of the shock, worn rubbers, strut tops etc But I was hoping someone would be able to suggest some other things to check? Or good methods for checking coilovers before buying - what else should I be looking for? Any help or tips would be great Many thanks, Anthony.
  5. R32-R34 skyline's don't use camber tops (Like the S chassis does) they have camber arms.
  6. Spark plugs aren't he problem, we changed them less than 2 months ago. Old plugs weren't in the worst condition either, but we still changed them out for new ones.
  7. Hi, I am looking to buy a turbo from an RB25, stock is good or something aftermarket that is of a similar size and not huge (25/30 for example) it will be going onto an RB30. Any condition considered as long as it is still usable. Will consider anything that would suit. Cheers. These are some number of stock turbo's I would like, just to be clear. Nissan: 45 V1 45 V2 45 V3 45 V4
  8. Do you have the stock turbo by chance?
  9. I crack the crownwheel bolts while the centre is still in the car, so much easier.
  10. What sort of spring rates are you running?8kg front 6kg rear?
  11. Are your spacers bolt on hubcentric items? All torqued down correctly etc?
  12. Oh alright! Good to put a face to the car to the username. Cheers for that alignment mate. Nice stag, do you ever go to any motorsport events with it?
  13. Nice work with the car mate, with your heat shield for the pod filter, the hot glue you've used will turn to liquid again once the engine bay heats up, though you've probably found this by now.
  14. Nice car mate. Are you on the north or south side?
  15. Was getting an alignment mate! Was that your black stag parked out the front?
  16. I was out cruising for the first time in a few weeks! Anyone spot me? Still haven't put my Sparco wheels back on the rear yet.
  17. This!! Listen to this guy.
  18. Do the AFM's have plugs? Discount for bulk buy?
  19. You can't really buy a 235 or 245 wide tyre to fit an R32 GTR wheel / car. The closest you would find (even this would be difficult to find) is 245/35R16 which is way too thin.
  20. 205/55 on an 8" rim will not be stretched, not in the slightest. At best it may sit flat. 225/50R16 is the size the GT-R's ran, so you can stick with that but 205/55 would be fine too. It would not fall off or something crazy.
  21. What needs doing mate?
  22. Sort of want.. Where are you located?
