  1. Reckon a Falcon one would fit an M35? I was going to get one custom made but I am afraid to go and get a quote
  2. Ahh, so that's what they are! I don't really drive at night. I am at work by 5.50 and leave work at 5.50-6.00 so I don't really need headlights... do I?
  3. Spotted a Stagea yesterday evening on my way to work. Unable to give any more info as I was just happy enough that I spotted a Stagea I waved - don't think they noticed. He was heading up towards Mapleton. EDIT: One of the blokes at the construction site I am currently doing security at owns a Stagea as well. Already forgotten what model but he was arriving as I left so we had a 2 minute chat.
  4. Thanks guys. Will pull it all to bits this week. Had them fail half way along a 50km trip, at night. Had to use highbeams the entire way as I wasn't aware there is a switch beside the headlights which turn on some other lights which do the same job as headlights.
  5. Even though my car has only done 3000km since it was compiled it seems my bulbs have blown (it's def not a fuse) or something funky is going on in there. However, I undid the one bolt and shoved my hand down to feel and managed to get stuck - now my wrist is covered in blood. So... Any easy way to remove them
  6. Build a pneumatic spud cannon. Do not use spuds as ammo. I shoot my brothers with wet news paper and that leaves bruises. What I'd probably do is load a tennis ball into the barrel then dumb a crap load of paintballs into it. Obviously not firing it at full power tho.
  7. OT here, and totally not directed at you BigDirtyJase... It's just an observation. How come Alienware have such a great reputation for quality yet Dell attracts a fair bit of criticism when Alienware is owned by Dell? Now back on topic, if you can afford it go Alienware. Alienware = Dells gaming line. But you're going to have to pull another 1k minimum from somewhere - so studio xps laptops are your next best.

  9. Nah, the media player it was in is broken as well That $480 was excluding HD as I bought a new HD as soon as it occured.
  10. Interested.
  11. Woah, and here I was umming and arring over my $480 HTPC build (Lost a 1gb HD 80% filled with SD movies/tv series and my media player last night.)
  12. Your attitude is the reason why cops target skyline drivers... You probably have the same attitude when speaking to them.
  13. Yep. I live up in Dulong so on the way up the sunshine coast hinterland mountain range and the #1 & #2 cars I see doing stupid shit is skylines and commodores (commodores in #1) - They always park out the front of my house as well at midnight (99% of the time with a ridiculously loud exhaust). I feel like taking my potato cannon + German Shepherd up there and giving them no choice but to f*** off. I presume it's the same 2 guys who stop there almost every weekend. If I as a skyline/stagea enthusiast finds this annoying then imagine what the average person thinks... and cops.
  14. Fully agree with you. In my perfect world I'd change the laws to allow safe mods to be done without trouble (many safe mods are defectable) and then implement something like QLDS roadworthy to be carried out annually.
  15. If cops target skylines then it's for a reason. Are they more likely to find a Hyundai Excel driving recklessly & endangering lives or a skyline? Are they more likely to find a car with illegal mods on an Excel or Skyline? Is someone with a Skyline more likely to have a driving record than an Excel driver? I'm joining the NSW Police Force shortly and no doubt that as a cop I'd be more likely to pull over certain types of imports over other cars.
  16. EscapeNet is great, but you won't get the prices you seek. I prefer EscapeNet over internode, better value for money imo.
  17. Slow reply (over a year late) but it's not a huge project, if he is any good it would have only set him back a few days/weeks once he had everything done. Not a friggin' clue why you'd use VB to do it though. I intend to do something similar in my Stagea, not sure I'll go to the same extremes (if it's the car I am thinking of) - I hope to retrofit a touch screen into the default M35 pop up screen and then remove all controls on the middle section of the dash and place gauges and what not there
  18. I'm about to reactivate the remaining two accounts I own (I own 5, my brothers use one each + my main) I think.
  19. I got a iller attitude test once, back when I was only 19 (I'm 21 now) - Got stopped with a mate in my car at around 1am, he was trashed as all hell but I was obviously sober. My windscreen whiper rubber had gone all weird and was defectable. I hadn't noticed as they appeared to be clearing the water off fine. Took me about 10 minutes to convince the cop I didn't know and afterwards I realised that the entire time he was trying to get me to "snap" and be rude. I just answer everything with "yes sir/officer, no sir/officer" and I always ask them how their night has been and such things.
  20. My sister and mum both drive my stag, they don't hide their hoonish behaviour. When I get back in the car my fuel meter rises by about 1cm sometimes just because they were wasting so much of my precious liquid gold.
  21. I mostly lose fuel when someone else drives my car, sister and mum both have lead feet. If they owned my car I doubt they'd even manage 400km to a tank Most of my driving is from Mapleton -> Noosa Heads. So about 1/3 of it is highway, the rest depends on how many knobs are on the road to slow me down.
  22. Lmao. I didn't end up going to Maroochydore either, but I'll just pretend I did.
  23. OMG! THAT WAS ME!
  24. I'll be doing mine as soon as I can afford it. I'd rather chose when my car is down.
