cheers mate, the gearbox kit i bought came with pretty much everything i need for the conversion, ie gearbox, driveshaft, gear stick, pedals, master/slave cylinder, clutch flywheel(which i wnt to replace for the sake of it), all the wiring.....no centre console though..... Whats the nismo pedal bracket for?and is it necessary?.....im jst waiting for my price quote back.

thanks for the replies mate, im sold on the super coppermix twins, i was told a nismo fork pivot is highly reccomended, but is all the other stuff necessary, like the braided lines, bigger slave??? this is my first clutch im putting in, and im converting from auto to manual, so ill be buying a manual spigot bearing aswell. I was told theres a couple of other nissan parts. which will be needed which the instructions of the clutch advise of? anyhelp greatly appreciated!

Heres the things im thinking of buying at the same time i buy my nismo clutch kit (whch i still dont know whether it comes with flywheel or not?) 1)SUPER COPPERMIX TWIN (STANDARD - 670PS) 2)APP DIRECT CLUTCH LINE - braided clutch lines 3)***NISMO BIG OPERATING CYLINDER -....DOES THIS WORK WITH twin PLATE CLUTCH ON THE ECR33 RB25DET SERIES 1?***, and is this even worth buying with the coppermix, as ive heard the pedal pressure is quite light on these clutch kits anyway, even the twin plate ones. 4)NISMO RACING RELEASE FORK PIVOT anything else i need or dont need please advise me, im going to be doing the auto to manual myself, and il be buying a spigot bush at the same time for this also, the box is in extremely good condition. please help me out, i want to buy this kit now, so i can hoepfully get everything done asap:)!

also.....does it come with flywheel aswell as a package? or not.....and is it worth buying anything else with it, ive never used a twin plate before, and im converting from auto-manual cheers

For an r33 skyline rb25det, anyone have one and would reccomend it???....i need to decide on a new clutch for my system.....how long will these last aswell? thanks in reply!

Hey guys, i just got my ORC 709D clutch/flywheel combo, and was wondering if theres anything else i will need to install this twin plate into my rb25det, or things people reccomend me replace at the same time for reliability, ive just spent a sh$tload of money to get a gearbox + the orc twinplate kit, and would like to do it all right the first time. anyhelp would be appreciated:)

Hey guys, im about to go from auto to manual, and need some advice on clutch(possible flywheel too), id like to do it right first time so i dont need to open it up all again later on down the track. Basically my car has around 180rwkw atm, but in the near future it will have around 250-260rwkw, which is when i will stop going for more power....so i need to know what clutch flywheel combo would suit, id say 98% street car and 2% track/drift/drag...... Should i replace the clutch and flywheel now or not?, how much power can the stock clutch handle? thanks!

thanks guys, for up to 250rwkw, im thinking of getting 550cc injectors(to save my fuel costs),.....but i have the option of nismo/apexi/hks....and dont know which one to go for...all similar in price

Will i lose any power, or will the box just be weaker?, ive been told by my mechanic, who only deals with rb engines that thats a good way to go, which is puttin a rb20det box into a rb25det engine, and cheaper too, and more readily available.... what will the outcome be?... need help

thanks for that, yeh what size injectors would suit?and is it bad to get bigger than you need injectors???, cause the ones im after....theres no real difference in price between nismo 550cc and 700cc injectors....so should i get the 700cc ones instead?. I have a sau bleed valve, dnno if that will be sufficient, but seems to hold boost quite well:) and im after a power fc aswell, will i need the hand controller or not? cheers,

thanks!, whats the response like of a gtrs?compared to say the stock turbo, which is really reponsive down low.....and will it get me to 250rwkw?, and a high 12 sec pasS on the 1/4?this is my long term goal, and one i dont want to keep changing turbos around for....also how long will an rb25det engine last with a gtrs and that amount of power?

I've narrowed it down to a few choices only....basically i want as much response as i can get from my rb25det, and would like to know which turbo would suit for a street r33....i would like to make a car with enough power to pass a high 12 pass on the 1/4 aswell......maybe 250rwkw will get me there???.....please help guys, heres my 3 major considerations atm: HKS GT-RS GT-SS GT2530 current mods: fmic apexi pod 3" exhaust + split dump bosch 040 fuel pump splitfire coils the threads i see about the gt-rs are generally for the rb26 motors, and they say its too laggy for them.....but it seems they are quite a good turbo for the rb25? why is that? thanks!

can that be done? i mean giving the boot a carbon fibre look?, cause if it can, i aleady have a drift wing as it is.....

Hey guys, just need to know if theres anything ill need to support the hks gt-rsturbo kit against what i have now Heres my current mods: R33 skyline gts25t series 1 '94 3" exhaust into split dump pipe hybrid FMIC Apexi pod Splitfire coilpacks and ngk bcpr6es new fuel filter bosch 040 fuel pump sau boost tap stock ecu stock turbo running 10psi Im aiming for around 250rwkw......heres a list of things i dont know whether i need or not: nismo injectors(550 or 700cc) apexi powerfc new head gasket Fuel pressure regulator turbo manifold? And my other question: whats involved in the replacement from stock to hks gt-rsturbo kit?and does the kit come with everything ill need to bolt it all straight up?, is it a low turbo mount(will i need to change the manifold)?, and how much labour involved approx, im thinking of doing it all myself. I know alot of people on here have done it, i just want to do it right the first time, meaning i will buy all the supporting mods now, instead of headaches in the long run....need some real world advice thats all. Car is mainly street, never sees track work, and is on toyo t1rs 235/265, with coilovers and camber bushes for the rear, still a bit of suspension work to do.

hey guys, i have to replace my fuel filter, but was wodering if its a good idea to wait till my fuel is nearly on Empty, or close to it, so i dont waste heaps of petrol in the process....since its full right now(i dont like wasting gas hahaha) How much fuel will drain?, itll either be me doing it tommorow, or next week same time, as i wont have much fuel left by then....also, will the fuel spill alot, should i be careful doing this?, its my first time, thanks!

well i havent done much else apart from resetting the ecu, and it seems to be fine atm....ill have to monitor for the next few days, but it seems like the problem is gone.

How hard is it to clean the airflow meter?,......im going to change my fuel pump to the new 040, and ive ordered a fuel filter, since theyre quite cheap....im going ot have to sort this out one by one!
