What Clutch Kit For ~250rwkw?
nsta replied to nsta's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
thanks for the advice, so exedy make good clutches too, anyone reccomend the ogura clutch/flywheel combo packs? -
Hey guys, just wondering what clutches/flywheel combos you have for a car running close to or near 250rwkw, and how you'd rate it, jim berry not included(reason being im in new zealand, so its cost too much in shipping for me). Id like something near stockish in feel, good in day to day traffic(daily driven to work in rush hour all the time), and can handle on its own. ive got an r33 rb25det auto, soon to go manual, and car is making around 200rwkw atm. Please help cheers

Few questions.....im going r33 '94 auto to manual (rb25det series 1) 1) what do i need to buy?i mean everything, im making a list, and saving up right now.... 2)should i keep the stock auto diff, i heard its better? 3) ive decided on a full monty jim berry clutch as im aiming for 250-300rwkw, and machining the stock flywheel 4)does the auto ecu need to come out? 5)can i keep the auto dash? 6)what problems are most encountered? over here in nz, gearboxes sell for around $1500-1800nz, but i dont know what i need to make sure is included

im fitting this kit into my car today, as i have too much rear camber and its chewing the insides of my tyres like nothing else!!!.....i have got the kca378 to correct this hopefuly, it says you can use two kits to correct it even more, as this one allows .75degrees both ways adjustability, ive only purchased one kit as yet though.

Hey guys, just wondering if this would work well for my street 25-t aiming for 250-300rwkw???.....anyone else using the same sort of setup??? i spoke to jim, and he said the full monty would be something i should look into. But he also says the full monty is a clutch which you dont need to customise, so in theory everyone has the same clutch specs if they buy a full monty from jim correct???

please check your pm's mate. cheers

Hey guys, my rb25 turbocharger just died, eventually, and need a replacement asap....what would you guys reccomend me do, i have no money to get a much bigger and expensive turbo,as i dont have the internal mods to support.....could i possibly get it hi-flowed for a reasonable price, and still bolt it straight up without problems?....here are the mods i have for my car right now. r33 skyline turbo 3" exhaust, w split dump pipe apexi pod, + cold air intake and airbox boost tap running 10psi Auto whats a good cheap option for the time being, with a slight gain in power if i can would be nice. I have a bosch 040 pump thats yet to go in. cheers

Hey guys, im going to buy some 5mm wheel spacers for my fronts, as the offset on my r33 means that the tyres are very close to the brakes, extremely close....question is, does any old spacer work, should i be looking for the cheapest one??? something like this do the job? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...on-88407802.htm

Ever since i lowered my car, ive been getting really bad tyre wear on the front/rear tyres, i have since sold my rims/tyre combo, and have a new one on its way, but before fitting them, im goign to want to fix this camber issues, what will i need to adjust the rear camber?....and im assuming i just need camber plates for the fronts?
