Hey guys, just bought some fibreglass gtr guards for my r33 gtst....im planning on keeping my front guards the same...so x8.5 rims would be the max ill go......but with the rears, im going all out, to create a hybrid skyline look, ill be getting the gtr guards soon, and have it moulded asap, and resprayed. now i need to figure out how wide a rim i can go with the gtr guards, and will it effect handling having say 8.5 fronts, 10.5 rears????

thanks heaps guys for the advise, i think im going to just go and buy some splitfires....i regapped my plugs to .66mm,and i still get the missing occasionally, but what is worst, my car has a huge flat spot which wasnt there beforehand, this is running 10psi Is it true 1.1gap will be fine with splitfires or should i just buy pregapped .8mm ngks asadvised. thanks alot guys

Which would you go for???ive got 2 options.... 1) get splitfires, and hope that gapping at .8mm will work 2) regap my .8mm ngk's to .65mm, and hope it doesnt missanymore either way will i lose a noticeable amount of power gapping from 0.8mm to 0.65mm????ive heard that too low a gap will slow the car down heaps???

Hey guys as the topic suggests, i just bought some really cheap but in mint condition r33 coils from an r33 series 1 just like mine, but the packs are very slightlydifferent. The packs look fairly similar, fit into the area fine but my loom plugs dont quite fit into the 6 slots on the new packs i got. Will i just need to buy the wiring loom for the coilpacks i just bought?>>>will it fit ok??? cheers

Hey first time i installed they were put straight in, 2nd time, i checked each to makesure, and they were all gapped at .8mm already(using feelergauge) cheers

what type of electrical tape works best???, i tried wrapping coils with CHEAP tape, and only wrapped with one layer of it, and its still missing. Before i go ahead and spend 550 on some coilpacks, im going to have another go. One other thing, if i get new coils, would that mean i can run 10psi on 1.1mm gapped bcpr6es plugs? Few things i noticed,......, my new plugs were already all pregapped to .8mm, and all my old plugs were gapped at around .65mm.....would i have lost power because of such a low gap prior(i never had any missing with the low gap though) How does lowering gap affect the engine?i mean excessive lowering, which my workshop done on my old sparkies which i heard is bad (.65mm on 10psi

Hey guys, im gathering parts to convert my car from auto to manualand have a few questions. The box ill get will most likely have no flywheel/clutch combo. Few things, should i keep my auto diff?, what clutch/flywheel would suit my application?? Im going for a power goal of around 250rwkw, and would try getting as high as 300rwkw in good time. Im slowly gathering bits here and there, looking for good deals. 1) who's this Jim Berry guy i keep hearing about?, im in NZ, and theres no one like him down here. I would have to get a clutch imported from aus to nz if i go with this guy 2) whats a good flywheel?i heard lightweight ones are good?, and also learnt there can be clutch/flywheel combo packages though osgiken etc..... 3) what other things should i factor in when trying to go rb25det auto to manual in r33 skyline series 1 all in all will ~$3250-$3500 be all i need to gather bits including the box?

yeh i know that mate, i mean does the tape go all e way around the coil or just around the cracked bit?also in the pics i dont se any cracks???
