its not going to 3.5 though....only 3.......heres a picture of the high boost mod, and yes white is grounded, could that be the problem??? how do i put the boost trick back to normal as i have got a boost tap which i want fitted, so i dnt need the boost trick now or do i???

so would it be best to fit the i/c first, then mod the front bar - take the off cuts to a plastic welder, and then respray? btw how much did it cost to weld the offcuts????

will making it shorter help, if so how?

with a type m front like al's will i have any problems fitting my hybrid fmic?

hey Al, i just bought a type M front bar just like yours, though it hasn't been modded yet so i get more air for the cooler, i just want to know how your's is so clean after cutting the opening in the middle, ive seen alot of mods, though yours is the best to date, did you have to get a panel beater to clean it up after trimming or what?i hope mine is just as good when cut thanks

Hey guys, my r33 shows a little under halfway mark on the factory guage, around +3 (~ 6psi???) when at peak boost, and never once gets any higher, as i have an exhaust and pod, i would think it'd go higher than this, at least factory spec. My mate recently tried doing the high boost mode solenoid trick, and played around with some of the solenoid hoses, could he have screwed something up in this area, ive attached a pic, though i think he may have the top and bottom hoses mixed up on the solenoid, can someone please confirm. Also we recently tried fitting a boost tap to my car, to no avail, could someone, pleae edit my picture and show me how to fit it correctly, using mspaint or something. thanks in advice

thanks, though when i mix the coolant with water, does the water have to be distilled, or just tap water???? and is it best to mix the water and coolant at the same time into like a carton?or add coolant, then water?

i wouldnt mind knowing about this too as i will be getting my hybrid kit connected up soon

thanks for the info guys. couple of quick questions before i go ahead. Ive bought some nulon coolant (1ltr) 1)how much litres to fill up radiator and overflow bottle? 2)it says that 1litre coolant mixed with 2litres water will make 3 litres, do i mix the coolant/water first then fill, or do it individually as the instructions say?i would think mixing first would be ideal cheers

can someone please explain to me how to set these up on an r33.....something that my mechanic will understand, as i dont:(...... cheers pictures would help too, i have an r33 gts-t, and ive also used that high boost mode mod if that affects anything?

just to confirm, do you guys fill up the bottle that says coolant on it (yellow cap, bottom left hand side of engine bay)??? and fill it to max level??? thanks

Hey ppl my r33 will be fitted with a front mount soon, its a hybrid kit, but i think it looks as though the piping will still go through the std intercooler hole, which doesnt leave me with an cold air feed for my pod:( so i was wondering if anyone has made a ~3" hole close to the std i/c piping one, and if its a good idea???...im just worried that it could weaken the chassis or something along those lines please help cheers

Hey guys, ive decided to go for an r33 gtr cooler (as i got a very good price for one:). I would like to know how to go about piping for these things???, is there any special way to go about it? Would any r33 25t piping kit do the job, as i dont know the size of the gtr coolers im a bit concerned how to go about it, im willing to spend up to 450 for piping......as the cooler was cheap:) im in nz btw thanks in advice

ive been searching the forums, and find they're good for 300rwkw, so restriction is not an issue. How about piping for these things, will it have to be custom?if so any instructions on how to fit a 33 gtr cooler to a gtst (33 also)?ive been searching but havent found any info so far!

Hey guys, ive got a price of 700au for a full hybrid cooler kit sent to my door, but a mate of mine will be able to source a r33 gtr cooler w/o piping for 350-400au.......bit of a crisis, how much would a piping kit cost me.....and is there any issues with fitment for the r33 gtr cooler on my 25t? i dont know which way to go.....please help thanks

so it is quite the norm to have to cut the fan blade slightly(trim it), thats alright then, ive been quoted $700 shipped to new zealand at my doorstep, for a hybrid i/c kit, should i go for it ppl?, im wanting to make 250-300rwkw. thanks

thanks for the info guys, some dude down here is selling a hybrid kit for cheap, but im a bit concerned....he sent me the install inst. for the hybrid cooler, and it says that the fan blades need to be trimmed for the piping to pass through???it doesnt sound legitimate to me.....or is this what you guys had to do? What kits are straigh bolt ons, no cutting etc required....id like to spend just under 1000....cheers
