What Have You Done To Your Stagea Lately?
adey88 replied to Hanso's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Not very exciting but replaced the rear gearbox mount (auto)... It has made so much difference! I have been putting up with vibration under load that always got worse in the cold and wet weather. I have been troubleshooting this vibration for ages and was thinking it was the gearbox, front shaft, tyres! 15 minute fix if you have a hoist, was a bit suprised it was worn as my car only has 130,000kms. Part Number 1132001U01 for anybody that is interested. Adrian. -

Just to confirm that the R33 KOYORAD fits the stagea S2 Auto as other members have said. The shroud needed minimal sanding down for it all to fit but its pretty much a direct drop in. NIS039PACAK was the part number my mechanic pulled from his radiator catalogue book...
-
Thanks 4 reply... got the car booked in tomorrow for a koyorad ... pretty sure its an r33 model as its same dimensions but 25mm thickness instead of 16mm. Will post part number if it fits.
-
Hi All, Just noticed a crack in the top of my radiator and cooland is now leaking out.... Anybody have the part number for the above KOYORAD replacement or know of a distributor in sydney?? Thanks Guys. Adrian
-
Funnily enough i changed mine today... they are a bitch to get out, i ended up undoing the battery and sliding it across and on the otherside removed the airbox. As somebody else said they twist out (you can use pliers if they are really tight) and are located at the bottom (hiding under the other cables).

Wtd: Stagea Front Brakes
adey88 replied to OUTATIME's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Got some standard S2 calipers / rotors for sale in sydney if you get desperate... Can ship but from memory they are heavy... Adrian. -
Sorry for the delay - only have the front axle screenshot btw.... 40210 seems to be the bearing number but please refer to the screenshot to confirm.... Adrian.
-
I got a response from nissan, they quoted 170 for the bearing and 340 for the hub (which probably doesnt need replacing)... the guy was nice enough to supply a screenshot with front hub assembly and part numbers too... I can post these up if anybody needs it
-
No offence taken jez i appreciate the response, i had actually already checked justjap and saw they only have the NTN bearings so was open to suggestions as to what other people had went with. Ill give nissan a try and see how much they charge - no doubt theyll bend me right over ....
-
Looks like my front right wheel bearing is gone... making a bit of noise and wheel has movement when up on the hoist... Any suggestions for a replacement? Should I go genuine Nissan? I've searched and cant seem to find a part number - Anybody able to FAST my VIN if supplied?? Its a 1999 (Series 2) RS Four (Automatic). Cheers, Adrian.
