Hi All, I'm selling my old wheels - they have been professionally sandblasted and powdercoated (12 months ago) in gunmetal metallic. There is NO gutter rash but a few chips in the paint around the wheel nuts. I ran the wheels without the centre caps although still have the centre caps (unpainted). Wheel Specs: 17 x 7.5 Offset +38 Tyre Specs: 245/35/17 Falken FK452 (75% left) They are currently wrapped up and in storage but can take pics if interest is shown. Have you tried pressing the TV button to the left? As somebody else mentioned its on the CD function.... Try pressing the TV button then press the touch screen button to the top right. This will change the TV screen channel. If the cd is stuffed then you can use channel VT1 which is the front input (3.5mm jack I believe)

Spotted a silver 260 with black rims on the boulevard (Miranda) on the way to work then saw u again on same road on way home! What timing! Not sure if they on here but was nice looking 260!

haha I did the same - I bought the car with the hook already snapped off and it was rattling around in my door pocket for 6 months.... If its a clean break then a bit of Aroldite and it will be all good again...

They should look good on the stag, looks like they have a bit of dish too!! If you coming to sydney to get tyres check out Tempe tyres, they are usually cheap and have stock of most tyres (I have no affiliation with them btw)

A +15 will look good - you may need to slightly roll the rear guards (depending how low u are) but since it's a manual you should ave more room to play with. What wheels are they anyway?

Thanks mate, I'm happy with them... I'm running 235/40 so there is a bit of stretch. I Could have gone 245 but there isn't really much room to play with as the rear is quite low. You should be right with those specs, The rear will be close to flush but fronts as u know are 25mm narrower - I've previously run a 9 +38 with a 245/45 which was too close to the strut...with the factory struts I think u have less clearance so maybe go a 245/40

Finally got the stag some new shoes... was sick of the R34 GTT 17's with their weak offsets!! (it also didnt help running 35 series tyres...) Anyway they are 18x9.5 +22... Lowered on BC's with a bit of rear camber got them to clear the guards and have about 20mm from the strut! Pics arent the best but you get the idea!

Sorry guys I think we are talking about a different shaft - I am referring to the shaft that connects to the transfer case - see below pic:

Tell me about it, bloody expensive.... Its not the tyres as its been vibrating under load since I can remember plus the tyres are new... Most of my suspension has been replaced and just by turning the joints in the shaft by hand I can feel its very notchy and not smooth... I should check the attessa fluid though! Thanks Kiwi (bob) ill keep that in mind - ill see what it will cost to get mine recond' and get back to you....

Nissan wanted ... wait for it.... $1231 for the front shaft (not sure if thatincluded postage as i didn’t bother asking).... Forget that - ill be eitherdriving RWD permanently or have my unit fixed

Thanks for that, I'll try and find a driveshaft specialist... Are you sure the shaft is the same as a GTR as they do look pretty small... I was under the assumption GTR had bigger shafts! If somebody has the part number please let me know and I'll get some pricing from nissan.... cheers

HiAll, I have dropped the front drive shaft from my 1999 RSFour due to vibration whichhas seemed to fix the issue. Upon inspection of the shaft I can see that theend joints are notchy when turned which I’m guessing is causing the vibration. As much fun as the car is in RWD does anybody know of a place that can servicethese joints (uni??) so they are smooth? Am I better off buying from Nissan -if so does anybody know the part number? Or maybe just a clean with somedegreaser and new grease?? Your help is appreciated....cheers, Adrian

Not sure if this will even fit a s2 sabbai... The S2 gearbox is RE401B - the part listed there is RE401a(series 1)...

Yes they are hubcentric.... as mentioned before they are dirty - they have also been sprayed matt black for stealth...

Hi All, Have a used set of 25mm bolt on spacers (5x114.3) which I dont need - They have been sprayed matt black and are dirty as but I will clean them up before sale. Been used for the last 6 months with no issues. $70 + postage. Cheers, Adrian.
