  1. get a towbar thats hidden we got one put on our estima, it cost 400 coz the zorst had to b moved, but u wuldnt even kno it was there!!!
  2. ummmm....i dont see the point??? back to the main comment/q's wateva...i'd go for the rb20det ova the rb25, the rb25det screws ur 50/50 weight hardcore 60/40 or worse ive been told personally id just go the rb20, spend the money u saved on the rb 20 on mods and it'll b sweet assssssssss....just my 2 yen
  3. lol, wen r u importin ur next 32 gtr??? (15yo rule, huh?)
  4. pentae was probably referrring to the 180sx wen it originally came out only came with the 1.8l turbo (ca18det), hence the name "180sx" it was not until 1991 when the sr20det was put into the 180sx, although the silvia got the sr20det put into it in 89/90 (i think)...the 20kw difference being the extra displacement and bigger turbo on the sr20det, alongside the ca18det sr20det (152kw) ca18det(131kw)
  5. wtf??? well they must;ve dun a shonky job lol, its not too say wen u drop a perfectly good motor, into a perfectly good car, and its dun properly, wat can go wrong dude?
  6. if u go the rb25, ur puttin heaps more weight on the front end of ur car, but, if u go for the rb20 ur gettin good bang for bucks and it dusnt weigh as much, basically NO-ONE!! would replace an sr20det for an rb20det, the performance is virtually the same...the only time u'd put in an rb20 is if u bought an older sil b4 the sr20's came out and it had a ca18de/ca18det engine in it....the only xception wuld probable be if ur sr20 blew up and u didnt hav the dosh too get another sr20 put in, bcoz the rb20 engine is a much cheaper engine to buy than the sr20........newai, imo u CANNOT deny a 6 ova a 4
  7. from wat i've heard, the rb only ads 40 or 50 more kilos onto the front end...ive neva driven 1 but i've heard if done properly the weight difference is hardly noticeable just my 2 yen
  8. lol t88, k tx man...n e 1 disagree or has a better idea
  9. wat's the best turbo for the rb20det, without too much lag, fuel cut etc. and with plenty of performance??????? :burnout: n e ideas or info wuld b much appreciated
  10. plannin on droppin the rb in it, or gettin an rb conversion that's already dun...preferably i'd like to drop it in, with my mate whos a mechanic and specialises in jap imports
  11. i always have this debates with friends and uthers...im snoopin around for a car at the moment and i have divided opinions on the r33 skyline and the rb20det powered sil....definately there's many pros and cons...but i want to see wat u guys think... n e comments on the issue is much appreciated... thanks :shake:
