Hey there nah not installing sub or amp I don't like to too loud lol I installed my speakers few days ago, it was pretty simple. I juz took the old speakers out and cut the adaptor off the wires and solder new wires, and that plugs straight to new speakers. I dont know about other speakers, maybe you have to solder the wires to the speakers? :S

Finally got it done! today i picked up a antenna conversion cable, just plug play, easy! and the wire harness, i soldered it on to the new stereo wires and done! oh and I used heat shrinks, never knew they exist until today, clean wires, not dodgy electrical tapes never would have thought it was this easy now i have to install the speakers the stock speakers have an adaptor, should i just cut the adaptor on the wires and solder the new wires on that? and the one with the strip is - and the plain one is + ? anyway thanks heaps guys

Thats the original adaptors for the factory tape player and http://www.ryda.com.au/Aerpro-Nissan-Wirin...ds-p/ap7550.htm this is the one i found on ryda website. so from those 2adaptors from the first pic, the one on the left goes straight into the one from ryda, but what about the one on the right? i have to cut that one off? and solder it straight on to the sony one? and heres a pic of the sony one just incase sorry for all these newbish questions D: Oh and happy new year guys

ok guys i had a look behind the original cassette player and it has 2 Adaptors thats going into the casette player, 13cables all together. I just had a look at the adaptor on Rdya website and it only has 1 adaptor. So do i just buy that one and will have no trouble installing it or do i have to buy 2seperate adaptors? Ill post a pic soon

Thanks so much guys I'll give it a go myself as soon as i get my wiring harness. btw whats an earthing point? and where is it? :S i just found out i have to get a antenna conversion adapter aswell D: for now ill try and install the headunit as soon as i get the wiring harness and the adaptor, oh and some soldering stuff i had a crap $5 one and it overheated and broke thanks!

Hey guys! finally got my skyline! N/A 98 R34 25GT (Im a P-Plater) Anywayyy when i bought the car, it just had the stock tape player and the rear speakers were making weird noises, like when thers alittle bit of bass, you hear paper ripping noise(?). I think it may been damaged when it was getting compliancing done. So my mate bought me a CD Player and Speakers (Sony CDX-GT280 and Sony GTX1640) I didnt look it up before, and thought it will be just plug and play kinda thing but its not! I tried looking for tutorials or sumthing like that on the net but cant find any because the links are too old. and the installations are so expensive! (JB HI FI) I live in western suburbs sydney, Do you guys know any installers around this area? how much you think it will cost me for head unit install and rear speakers? Thanks guys!

Hi guys, P Plater here Im looking for Silver NA R34 2door coupe Ive been to top secret imports, but no NA 34 E&M motors, there is one but 20k... too much for NA im thinking around 15k for car thats done under 100000kms. I started looking at private sellers, but besides carsales.com.au, I cant find anywhere else.. have you guys seen any NA R34 around?

thanks guys, i looked around a few dealers today. top secret imports were very good but they dont have the car im looking for i would definately get it from them if they had the one im looking for. in five dock, saf's import & compliance, they had one R34 GT but they said they are getting another one in tomorrow so im going to give them a call to send me some pics of the car and the engine. and E&M had http://uniquemotors.shopforcars.com.au/Det...px?StockID=2487 im sure i could talk that down, cuz thats abit way over the top. but what type of engine is that? oh and Ginza imports....no comment. -_- and thanks grigor for the PM, ill look out for the engines. cant PM back cuz i have less than 10 posts lol

Im not sure if they will finance for a private car. the finance i have now for ford escape is under my dads name, i was too young to get one with my name anyway and im going to keep it that way. I guess it will save me ALOT on my insurance that way, wouldn't it? Anyway, thanks guys. I better check over the phone with the dealers if they have the car in stock.

Thanks charles. but its hard to find a NA R34 under 19k, maybe its just me lol and its strange GTT and GT cost around the same. wth? I would love a GTT, but p plate laws lol, what can i do . just gotta wait it out for another 2years for that

Hi guys! My first post! I'm new to SAU and skylines. I'm 18 and getting my green p's in about a month. I love skylines, and I'm definately getting one! soon right now, im paying off the finance for ford escape, its reliable and it was a good first car to drive, but i wanted a skyline since i got my p's . So im planning to trade this car for a skyline. Im on my p's so looking for a clean R34 GT. I have read http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/bu...e-f-t35129.html So for me, I need to find a good dealer. I live close to parramatta. Can you guys suggest me good import dealers? I drove past Ginza Imports in parramatta road today and saw a clean grey R34 GT, are they(Ginza Imports) any good? Thanks guys
