My engine light would come up every now and again when one of my coil packs was dieing it was hardly noticeable, miss fired for a split second and then when back to normal, gradually getting worse. I got them all replaced and now a few months later it started doing it again constantly so i got new spark plugs but it didn't help at all, so i tried an injector cleaner (even after nissan had checked it and couldn't find a problem with the car) and now its running pretty sweet. Must be some shit petrol around at the moment, iv always used premium fuel so I'm guessing that water has gotten into my petrol tank or into the tanks at the petrol station?

I was thinking about painting the mags (powder coated) metallic black and leaving the outer lip polished aluminum, what do u guys reckon?

whaaaaaat? someone wanna measure that big ass rectangle in the center of the kit? its way bigger than stock so you would have to have a pretty massive fmic to say it lets bugger all air in, or a stupidly placed one. I think that one on the white R34 looks f**kn mint as, if i could find that style of the top secret front bumper in New Zealand id buy it

Stats don't mean shit unless your racing brand spankn new cars straight from the factory, maintenance plays a big part in comparing used cars, If a cars had a hard life then i think its fair to say it will certainly have less power and torque than what it had brand new. Even if a car has 50hp more than another car on paper it doesn't necessarily mean its going to be the fastest, might have low compression on a cylinder and have a f(*ked piston or something.. lol.. You never know who will win until you race. -

Just to correct you, hes not a moron because the diagnostic thing Nissan uses wont give you a fault code unless you have the engine check light on at the time. If it comes on and you turn the car off the engine light goes away, the only way your going to get the fault code is if the light comes up and you drive to the mechanic and leave the car running while he checks it out...

iv got coby headers/extractors and one long hot dog (straight through) resonator with 2 1/2 inch piping to a RPS big bore, sounds awesome although if you want it to be legal you need another resonator or a silencer in the tip. Cost me $1000 all up and i sold my old exhaust for $100

when your driving slow and then accelerate suddenly the car will usually just skid in a straight line if you react quick enough, as the car doesn't have the momentum to keep going sideways. lol scares the f(*k out of the people you pass tho -

oh cool... Would it be cheaper and better to buy slotted rotors instead of resurfacing my stock ones? i have a terrible shudder during braking.. I'm guessing i glazed the rotors, got a little carried away when i went for a drive in the weekend lol!!! the cars done 111,000ks now btw -
iv replaced all my coils about 8,000ks ago and now im getting a missfire in the low rev range while cruising, but the check light DOESN'T come on like it did with the faulty coils. spark plugs maybe?

My 2001 Na R34 has NISSAN written on the brakes... they look small tho so I'm guessing that there only NA brakes.. -

no it doesn't i already answered the question before, it comes out of the one way valve sitting on the top of the engine, there's a black hose coming out of that valve that joins into your air intake pipe, the oil comes out of the valve and into the pipe, due to air flow it is sucked through the intake and into the combustion chamber where it is burnt and turned into exhaust gas. case closed

Some racetracks/events don't allow cars to compete if they don' have one because they don't want oil on the track. Hence why only turbo/high performance cars have them coz they are the ones that usually drive on the racetracks lol.. And i'm pretty sure oil and oil fumes would lower the octane rating of the fuel or something, and also restricting airflow through the manifold and hot air (oil fumes) would surely suck the engine of Horse power
