  1. the hose running out of the top of the engine is feeding the intake oil and fumes. If you have a look at the stock air intake you would have seen a big empty box after your filter box, that was to catch the oil dripping out of the engine. If you replaced it with a straight through pipe you have now allowed it to be sucked straight into the manifold etc. Only way around it is to get an oil catch can.
  2. I would love to know what kind of cars we'll be driving when we get gray and wrinkly. and also what the new generation will be driving when they get to our age lol....
  3. Just for technicality sake there is no R34 GTS, there are only: GT GTV GTX GTT GT4 GTR and then all the GTR spec models. GTS stopped after the r33. I hate ppl calling R34's gts and gtst's. The 350/370gt's etc don't need a turbo, they make similar power as the r34 AND more power than the r32 + r33 turbo models If they did have a turbo there target market (old farts) probably wouldn't want to buy them
  4. when the revs go down sometimes it blips up a tiny bit before going to flat idle. But i would say that's to do with the acc valve and vvt etc.

  6. How loud is it? my car also hesitates before dropping to idle sometimes but it doesn't make any weird noises
  7. its fine now, but my left guard came off completely while i was doing 180ks (ripped itself off one of the clips and got caught on the wheel and flung off underneath the car lol...) although to be fair i had hit a hare a few weeks prior to this happening and it stuffed that clip. The thing to watch out for is the metal frame for the engine bay that sits about 15-20mm behind where the guards are.

I'm not sure on offset but iv got 17s by 8 on front and 17s by 9 on rear, and lowered the car slightly with Tein springs, and iv found that when I'm doing 140ks plus round corners that my front wheels rub on the plastic guards, eventually it just made a hole where they rubbed, I don't think 9inch wide tiers would fit on the front without rubbing even worse??? R34 2 door btw.

  12. that's nice, GTR bonnet as well? how much did it cost do all that? Did u have to modify the mounts etc?
  13. my Na r34 has red GT badges they were there when i bought it tho. And for the R34's, isnt it like ER34 for the GT's and something like HR34 for GTT's? You could also check the coil packs??? different coils between turbo and non turbo p.s in New Zealand you can search the number plate and it gives you all the information about the car and what it was imported as etc etc

  17. What about the side skirts on face lift (series 2), they look completely different, as on the series 2 it is split up in 3 pieces, the middle looking like its stuck to the chassis?? and the front piece is actually the guard (not skirt) so im confused as to if it will fit on or not....

  20. Slightly off topic but oh well, does the factory R34 Aero side skirts fit on series 2 R34? (2001 face lift) I just bought a pair today and noticed that they are a bit different than my current ones... doesn't look like the front inserts will fit
  21. even the paint that came on my extractors (cobys) has all burnt/flaked off, and only half my resonator has paint on it 2 lol...

  23. iv tried 10w50 and usually use 10w30 but they all perform pretty much the same. Might check out the throttle body tomorrow. Only thing i can think of that would help would be to get a strip of self adhesive heat shield on the intake piping (as it is directly above the headers) and clean my pod filter as it has a few bugs and dust stuck to it. and yes iv changed my plugs twice since iv had the car.
