  1. unless the guy was braking then i'd say the rollers have more resistance judging by how fast the car slowed down. Anyways iv been for a ride in a 300hp r33 and that was quick enough to impress me lol. ------------------- Have you thought about getting a lightened flywheel?
  2. watching the speedo just made me hate my non turb r34 lmao... guess i better start saving up for a gtt now, how much did this package set you back? ( inc labor etc)
  3. that rear bumper on the 4dr looks very nice, a Ferrari style rear bumper? that coupe looks shit tho yuck. Would a r34 gtr rear bumper fit on a gtt?
  4. Silvias are very stylish, just not the s13 or s14 prefacelift. personally i don't like your front bar due to the up turned bit in the middle and also not a fan of big eyelids. But each to there own i guess, no one is obliged to look at your car if you drive past so its not like your forcing them to hurt there eyes.
  5. They didn't make very many aggressive lines (or bulges) like they did with the previous models, nothing really jumps out when you look at the stock r35. Just looks like a mass produced Toyota family car
  6. Iv had my car for almost 3 years now and in that time iv played around with a lot of different driving methods etc etc but the most interesting is just the basic gear changes and throttle.. For example, when putting you put foot down in 1st and change at high rpm its really responsive but it makes 2nd gear seem more sluggish than if you were to change fairly early in 1st and then change high in 2nd. It might not make much difference but if you try what I'm talking about you'll know what i mean. And also, full throttle from a stand still in my car seems kinda slow, almost like I'm flooding the engine but when i give say %70 throttle its responsive and seems to accelerate better (In 1st gear). This is me just mucking around in my car lol, but everyone should give it a try and see how there car behaves.
  7. just looking at that graph, is it best to change gears when you hit your peak rpm? i.e on that graph 5200rpm or just carry on and shift just b4 red line?

  9. I was looking on yahoo japan and found a mines ecu for an rb25de, only drawback is that they want $3-4k

Can you tune the stock ecu without having to get a piggy back? as above Iv also done the full exhaust plus custom stainless steel intake piping, the car doesn't feel like its running like it should be anymore and just want to get some extra hp and increase response until i can afford to buy a GTT.

  12. replying to the thread title: I have no idea nor do i have any interest in finding out, one can only assume that the above picture is the result of a man on acid driving into and up the asshole of a extremely obese Indian after a night at his favorite all you can eat curry restaurant.... but if you want my serious opinion, i think its an r34 4dr modded to fit that body kit (aka car wrapped inside an ass hole)

  15. people expect GT-R's etc to be fast so when he's driving around and he boosts it im guessing alot of ppl would be like " ohhh is that it???" haha then you drive past and they'l be like "pssh this thing wont be fast...." vssssssssssssssshhhh pssssshhhh " DUDE THAT THINGS TURBO'D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SIIIIIIIIICK" lol i rest my case.
  16. I got a 2001 25GT-V and it has all the extras like factory tints etc but it doesn't have xenons... that sucks, there like the best part of the car lol. I'm guessing clarion speakers aren't considered to be premium audio?
  17. Most GT-V's have the xenon lights aswell, sadly mine doesn't

  19. Most alarms have a small back up battery so that's why your alarm would be working and not your car. And like everyone else said, go for a longer drive with your stereo and everything turned off and go on the open road so your not wasting power on your brake lights and indicators
  20. And isn't there a trick people play on each other where they put a cable tie around something (i.e drive shaft) so when it spins it makes that funny howling kinda noise?
  21. The exhaust runs underneath the passenger side of the car and for the record if you had an exhaust leak you should be able to smell it under the car, other thing is to check to see if your extractors are cracked etc. Try checking your air intake aswell.

  24. Yea the longer the cable the more resistance you have hence less voltage etc, that's why you use bigger cable for batteries in the boot.
