hey guys, I was wondering if anyone would have any ideas where my car might be vibrating from. Its an r32 4 door with hicas removed, and some kind of aftermarket gearbox mount apparently. When Im driving the whole car seems to vibrate, it gets worse at some speeds than others. Like at 60km/h its worse than at 80km/h. Before I removed the hicas there was about 5mm play in the rear wheels, I thought that was the problem. But now its all fixed and the vibration has only been recused a little bit. Would the gearbox mount cause the vibration? Even while rolling in neutral at speed?

would you separate the engine at all? im after the turbo parts, manifold/lines/injectors etc..

yeah is it still for sale? interested in the whole kit..

how much would postage be for the manifold to sydney, 2170?

youd take 250 for just the set of sterns?

the whiteline catalogue doesnt show anything for that part number. Im looking for the bush where the toe-arm connects to the hub...same as the rear upper control arm bushes im sure

are the rear bushes standard or camber adjustable?

this is exactly what ive been planing to do to my 4 door since i got it. Though ive weighed up the costs and it seems that a series1 rb25det costs almost as much as the turbo kit would cost to put on. does the det computer need any extra sensors to run properly?

you wouldnt happen to want a set of 18" konigs would you?

cool:) yeah i was thinking of just buying some non-hicas ones fron justjap and making a little bracket to mount them too. It seems like a better idea than buying new hicas arms which still have the chance of having play in the later on...

Yeah I ve already got the lock bar installed, and the hicas is disabled. The problem is that I need to replace the both end of the rear toe arms because they have so much play in them. I was thinking a kit something like this, except id have to make the brackets seeing I cant find any aussie shops which sell them..

Well Ive spent the last hour or so searching around the net about cancelling the HICAS off my r32 gtst. Ive found a bit of info, but nothing which helps me really My problem is that the rear toe arms have flogged out ball joints at both ends on both sides. I already have a lock out bar installed, but there is almost 5mm play on both rear wheels because of the ball joints. I have searched around the net and have only found one product which really would help, which is the driftworks hicas eliminator. It pretty much replaces the hicas toe arms with non-hicas toe arms and has a bracket to mount the rose joint to. Then a bush is put into the hub where the ball joint was. Im thinking of doing this myself with some non-hicas adjustable toe arms. Like getting some from justjap and then just buying standard non-hicas bushes and making a little bracket to mount the other side to the subframe... Has anyone done this? Or is there a better way to completely replace the hicas arms and joints?

im running stock headers, then 2.5" piping with a leaking resonator to twin 2" tips. Its not THAT loud....but the noise is definately an aquired taste... if you want something louder i reckon just replace the rear muffler with a cannon, dont waste money on the rest of the exhaust...
