I had a injector issue on mine, it would lag and splutter at above 4k revs. Turns out it was the injectors needed to be removed and cleaned. How is your general acceleration?

So, i accidently damaged my Stagea, nothing serious just tried to remove the front bar, and side skirts on some unsealed road. Any recommendations for who i should get a quote from? Needs to be a Brisbane local, prefer if they are near slacks creek.

Further to my last i dropped in and inspected myself. Timing belt had dropped a tooth, timing bearings made the sound of sand when turned, harmonic balancer interior rubber was perishing. So i went to just jap, and ordered the following - Gates Racing timing belt kit - HPI clear timing belt cover (bling bling) - Ross Tuffbond harmonic balancer Total cost $1028.70 with a 10% trade discount! Kinda lucky in a way i caught it.

Nah, i trust this guy. It is a bunch of things not just the balancer. Ill be inspecting it though come monday. Lucky 100k servicing!

Oh, also needed a new timing belt kit. So I feel rather bent over ATM. I'm in springfield lakes if u wanna join me for a drink.

Ah crap, i asked for the timing belt to be changed, only to be greeted with a "btw you need a new harmonic balancer". Anyone know of one i can buy local to qld for about $400? it will save me a 3 week wait from japan.

There is no way in hell i am taking my car up tamb, id scrape and lose half my bodykit. I dont even like taking my bike up that forsaken mountain. Here are a few pics from Mt Glorious. Yes sharper deal is a ebay seller. http://myworld.ebay.com/sharperdeal (i got the 8k HID kits) I pulled the front end of my stag yesterday to remove the headlights. Threw them in the oven and have pulled the lenses off. Going to clean the insides tonight. Havent figured out how to remove the old glue before i reseal them. Took to the front of the lens with 400Grit sandpaper, then smoothed with 1200grit. need to power polish them and remove the final scratches.

WOOt! I received the HID kit from "sharperdeal" installed them in about 2 -3 hrs and love them. Bad point is they showed up all the scratches in my lenses so i now am going to polish and reseal them. Groan! I would recommend the kit to anyone.

I guess im kinda a hoon then, i mean i know my stag isnt the be all and end all. But i like to make people go WTH was that. The other month some noob P plater in his bombodore was lurching and goading me at the typical 40-60kmh in light urban area near redbank plains. I slyly tipped it into tiptronic and dropped a gear into 2nd. Next roundabout I trumped it down at the apex to give myself a grin. Unbeknown to me was that my car would spin on all fours then grip like a a deamon leaving four black marks in a signature of where i had been. Oh yeah, forgot to mention that the Tein Supersports make all the difference in cornering. So far i have found my turbo lag lets me down in getting off the line, but hey i couldnt find a manual at the time! On the broad scheme of things i dont race the Stag, its not what i got it for. Besides when you have done 300KMh already on a bike, speeding in a car is kinda slow. <3 the Stag
