  1. mcmn: uhuh. Dont waste your time mate. Maybe I should give you a heads up if I see a good GTR in victoria you can kindly check it out for another SAU member
  2. Roy your a class act, keep it up. If only people tried to have fun more and stop being so serious all the time. Make sure you keep everyone posted on the turnout of the event. Even if you do just end up drinking a slab of beer together instead of running ...
  3. Yeah, I dont want to give too much info about the specifics of the car and its location. But I agree with you. There was a nice black one with gold enkei's out at logan that was not too bad but it got sold before I could get dollars together.
  4. lol, no. Our argument is that RB20s SUCK DOGS NUTS, and you need to prove us wrong
  5. Theres just something about it that seemed really dodgy to me; maybe one of the cars is stolen or something. Any white GTRs gone missing lately?
  6. Meshmesh, your right.. Yeah its tempting going r33,.. about the same price range as what i'm prepared to spend on an r32, but I am not a fan of the whales.. I prefer how pure and raw the r32s are. Though I dont want to say too much, I might end up sitting in an r33 and being called a huge hypocrite
  7. I've been looking for at least six months now. What a pity theres no r32 compliance at the moment.
  8. I have raced a few rb20's with my sr20 and havent lost yet. But they are both excellent engines with heaps of power potential, made by our favourite car manufacturer.
  9. So in my quest to find a very tidy GTR for the right price, I found a 1994 model r32 for 30k that seemed to fit the idea. It was advertised as stock standard and in very good condition. Not only that but it had a super low 30,000kms on the odometer which seemed unbelievable. How could I go wrong? I went over to this guys place and out the front sat my ultimate r32 GTR.. white, low, gorgeous.. sitting there waiting for me to buy it. The seller comes out the front, and informs me the car i'm buying is in his garage. So I treck into the garage, and although the paintwork was quite good, the front grill was lying on the floor, exhaust parts where lying on the floor, the interior was terrible.. it had holes in the vinyl, cracks in the plastic around the gearshift, rusty rear vision mirror, cigarette burns in the worn seats.. I've never seen gearshift/handbrake boots so worn on an r32... the list goes on. The car looked like it had done 300,000kms. I asked about the one out the front and he told me that he bought both and he's keeping the one out the front. It struck me immediately that the car I was buying was nothing more than a parts car.. all the decent stuff had been swapped and placed on the other car. They where both the same body colour, same year.. I've never seen a GTR in such bad condition. DODGY! What a huge insult on my intelligence. I got out of there faster than a man hating lesbian at a football game. What pissed me off the most was I asked the guy to confirm the condition of the car over the phone and he told me it would be best to come out and see the car for myself. What a huge waste of time and a dissapointment.
  10. Nice ride. Hope it was insured.
  11. Whats BMI? Where can I get the video/article?
  12. I think we need to encourage idiots like this guy to stay out of skylines and go with the WRX crowd. I am sick of seeing school kids with their eminem cap on driving around skylines, and watching mums and dads driving the groceries around in rexies. Like someone said earlier, dont let the door hit you in the ass on the way out to the wrx forum. Oh and in a few years after you've grown up and matured a little bit, you will realise that theres a reason why in Japan, the country where both car manufacturers are born.. nobody could give a f*ck about subaru.
  13. It's just an r33 gtst with an rb20 in it is it? :jk:
  14. It's easy. Freedom of information. Publish how they did it and i guarantee you by freeing the information more people will be able to protect their cars. Particularly in a skyline forum. If someone really wants to steal a car they will do so with or without your info. Ever heard of a brick?
  15. let me put it to you like this, i wouldnt drop an rb26dett into a chev or a commodore ss
  16. Thats definately the best looking r33 gtr i've ever seen.
  17. Okay so when I call do I pull up babelfish as well?
  18. If you'd caught the guy doing it it would have almost been worth him doing it. Its things like this which is why we have gun laws.
  19. They are immaculate. How do you buy these if you cant speak japanese?
  20. Just get 180sx/silvia k's brakes. My brakes stop the car very well with lots of feel.
  21. Roy: No not yet My sale with the r34 GTR fell through so i'm doing a bit of prepurchase research to go with plan a: R32 gtr.. (the r33 gtr is too much of a whale for my personal taste) So comes the question, Buy an 89 GTR and refurb interior/respray.. 35k Buy a 94 v-spec II and wait for r32 compliance.. 35k Free research on SAU.. priceless Tough call
  22. Hehe, lets see some interiors that the in-laws would be proud of
