  1. Hey sorry to hear man, is it gonna be ok?
  2. Sorry to hear man. I assume if they are pros it won't be turning up again. Hopefully they are stupid amateurs.
  3. Thanks for the reply s. If I do get anything nasty I'll probably be idleing along in the left lane off boost for a while lol.
  4. How good does someone have to be to drive say a 250-300kwatw turbo rear wheel/bias drive car? I currently drive a FF NA with 100kw at the fronts (although it has very short gears). I kind of crap myself when I see these numbers and think I can't drive that. Can I adapt quickly enough? I'm 31 and relatively a mature driver. I understand that you need to do all your braking on the straight, slow in fast out if you are giving it the boot etc.
  5. Really nice clean example man. You are lucky.
  6. Just referring to the lot/year really. Just a bit curious as to what it costs to run a heavily souped GTR too as I see theres a few for sale but dont want to spend too much per year. Nice to here you get such good mileage. I think its swung my decision from a 80% to a 100%.
  7. I just find it bizarre that he searched so hard and finally got it now wants to sell it 2 months in. Yes I am interested.
  8. Just curious about running costs for various setups can people give me an idea? From stock/mild to wild.
  9. Hey man congrats and nice purchase.
  10. Yeah look for different finance.
  11. I planned on getting a StateRoads inspector to look if its interstate and a mechanic mate/relative if in Vic. Anyway I plan on taking my time and educating myself and may not buy until late this year to early next year. I definitely need something reliable so am prepared to pay good money for the right example. Probably just go for a later model run of the mill GTR with as low genuine kms as I can get, preferably bone stock or with some basic mods. Really appreciate the answers and info.
  12. The ones that look attractive to me (somewhat of a noob) are in the mid 20's. What should I be getting for that kind of a price?
  13. So most of these low km versions that are going cheap on Carsales have either been thrashed/crashed/have dodgy odo readings or all of the above???
  14. Some say Vspec 2 some say Aus model. I'm going to drive the car as my daily if I get one so I won't be babying it too much. Is the potential increase in value of the Aus ones worth the extra cost. Only one I've seen advertised has 180XXXkms and is $38K or so. Do V spec 2 32's have steel turbines or am I dreaming? Are all imports wound back? It seems ridiculous that a 1993 would only have 49000kms on the clock.
  15. Hey Terry thanks for the reply. Good old reliable Hondas get a little unexciting after a while. I think even if I do very well I'll still try to get a decent R32 as I'm in love with the original and I think having an R34 would be too stressful as a daily. Yeah poker and me are going on 8 years now. It started out good pocket money and is pretty much full time now.
  16. Hi all, I'm 31 and currently drive a Honda Integra Type R (the first one) which is really fun on the twistys on a cold dry night but its beginning to feel a bit weak for me and is a front wheel drive so much more than 200 horsepower renders it kind of pointless due to torque steer. I have driven an Evo 9 and decided to possibly join the dark side (boosted). Love the torque. Contemplating getting a Sti or Evo but remembered being in a GTR in my early 20's and the sheer thrill of it and decided it may be the car. So if all goes well next year or maybe earlier I may get one. The model depends on how well my hobbie does (I'm a mad poker addict).
  17. Hey I'm 31 and looking to get a GTR next year. (Model depends on how the business does)
