exactly . . . getting back on topic, I'll part with my GTR for $145. . . . 5300kms. . . virgin 09 car . . . Vibrant Red!
-
Awesome result . . .and a further testament to the performance industry here in Aus.
-
. . . . That is a mad time on those tyres! Well tuned and well driven! . . . Good job by all concerned
-
. . . . OK . . I give in. . . Tell us!!!
-
We have'nt . . . yet! Which session are you doing?
-
. . . well that is the start of a satisfactory outcome. Whilst as a member of this forum you are entitled to say what is your concern, the "TONE" of your initial posts is what has concerned me about this thread. A more open "what could I have done wrong" or "Martin, have you a dud batch" or "can you analyse your retained batch sample Martin" or "give me a tip" or anything along those lines using that tone may have made for a better. positive and more informative thread! I for one really hope that Martin. . . and his team. . . and I stress his team, as there are some very sharp operators at Willall Engineering - reach a satisfactory result for you! . . . Australia need companies like Willall to keep moving in a positive manner and whilst we have not used any Willall products ourselves yet. . . I for one are very proud to have the Willall Team in our backyard . . so to speak! On a positive note GTRicer. . . please keep moving forward with Martin and we will all benifit from this thread from this point onwards!

We will wait and see what Renee says about your potential swap. . . . the afternoon session seems the go as being at the Island for a morning session will be a tad hard. . . and farking freezing! I was going to put us on the 6.20 flight out of Adelaide on thurs morning but the chances of making the Thurs night back are a bit hard unless there is a renter in the system. . . I think! I am hoping you get a swap and share logistics with Dan, then I can stay in Adelaide. . . but Dan cant get a renter cos he is too young!
-
I have done a swap to get into thursday arvo. The Missus booked us onto a Gold Coast trip that weekend so I will go to Melb with Dan, he can do the Phillip Island thing and I can do some work in Melb then Dan can fly home & I will go to Qld . . . Job Done. If you get in for the Thurs Arvo by chance , give me a bell on 0400147000. . . . as I may get a renter that will enable us to get back to Tulla in time for late flights!!! . . . as it will be a tight timeline on the Nissan provided Bus!
-
. . . word has it they have added another day! Good Luck. . . I hope you get in.
-
Anyone else on here get this in their inbox recently?
-
. . . sometimes I think we always want what we have'nt got . . . but on this occasion I think the Red is sweet. I have'nt seen ours (its Red) for about 3 weeks and I think it will get a blast tonight. So thanks - 09 GTR - for the Motivation!

shit thats good Martin . . . I mean really F###### Good. If anyone said 6 months ago that there was a 12 in that thing, I would have said they were tripping. . . now there is an 11 in it. For those that have never been around Malalla, please try to get over here for a taste . . . turn 1 is very long and arduious. It is a track that certainly sorts out the men fron the boys . . . unfortunately I am "self classified" in the latter Martin & Kier have truly mastered the GTR now
-
Thats a fair effort Martin, I cannot help but think that the whole combo is now a good thing and that your trans enhancements are making a substancial contribution to the result! 221 @ the kink is the fastest speed I have ever heard of for a streeter with doors . . . or am I behind the times on this point! Are you planning to venture accross the borders to WA & NSW with "Triple R" this year?
-
Do not even suggest that Drifter. I have to give it to Martin, whilst many of us don't use his services (and many do), he absolutely lives and breathes the "Performance Aftermarket" and one by one he is winning both respect and customers - Worldwide - with his initiatives! I only catch up with M via email or in person every now and then but it is always an energetic, uplifting and positive experience. Originally I had no intention of Modding our 35 but in the end he has single handedly has made so many (track validated) improvements that I think I will end up at Gillman . . . even if its only for the Trans Lube. . . . so Drifter , I hope NOT
-
Agreed, Excellent work M . . . and your team. I was expecting a good result, but not that good! I am wondering how Slips car will come up with "Corn Juice" . . . not sure about the wing though !

We are beginning to sway towards a set of these Can you "dan666" have another look into the market and possibilities

Just want to go back to the Phat34/Morpowa allegations. I was not there but I feel that Simon has been possibly treated a little harsh in a couple of posts. I have run shows in every state of Aus and I have has Eddy Tassone with his 1000hp PLUS Cars with us in every state. Believe me , you can strap those things as hard as you want and when you start to make that sort of torque it will come straight up on the rollers just as Phat 34 did . . and stretch the straps to breaking point. There is a couple of Dyno passes on youtube from our show in Perth earlier this year - Search "Shane's Twin Turbo GTS at PSR Show" and get a look at the Dyno passes of another Tassone built gem . . it actually breaks the straps and leaves the rollers in one pass. My staff had stapped that car to within an inch of its life for safety - and guess who was driving - Simon. Simon had nothing to do with the strapping on these passes as my staff are totally responible for safety. Food for thought for some of the Keyboard Critics out there . . . Maybe someone that is sharper than me can post the couple of You Tube Vids from Perth on here for all to see. Then the Critics may get a better understanding of the situation

Well Duncan, the word "Entertaining" and the name "Munro" mean the same thing over here in SA . . . even with no tune and no midpipe . . . Munro made that 35 of his both Quick & Entertaining with his driving "Prowess" . . . for the want of a better word. Now, back on subject. . . bloody tidy work there M . . . I am getting itchy feet . . .

Well, Well. . . forums can be full of S*** but I never thought I would read crap like this. Where do I start. . . The Red GTR (GTR TT) is ours . . . and we all can use it, but it was Dans idea to buy it and Tuna (Martin Donnan) gave me a nudge. Dan certainly has driven it the most. . and he gets the job of looking after it, BUT Mark & Leigh - my other sons and I all drive it ! There are no Ferrari's in our garages. . . but I have acquired a taste for the 458 Italia. We do not own "The Wash" . . . but I wouldn't mind it. . . !! There is a W427 in the garage & it is build number 005. . . . But nightcrawler. . . dear o' dear. . . if you pull that thing of yours any more you may just "BLOW" one of your fingers off. . . . . . NOW get on here and tell the F****** real story.

Apart from the fact that this thread has gone off the rails. . . there is some interesting stuff to read here. If we go back to the start, these are my 2 cars in the picture that Martin has posted. Whilst it is enevitable that they will be compared on this forum. . . there is no real comparison As an outright piece of fun the GTR wins hands down and I am more than satisfied with our purchase. But if you need to have an all round tough streeter, the W is a better prop. . . for an old fart like me (51) In response to a couple of posts here I was bemused today to find that a W427 had changed hands for $190k. . . so values may be "Interesting" over the next few years. The big dollar W went to a collector that proposes to never drive it and he grabbed it because it has less than 12kms on the odo, its the colour he wanted and he can afford it. . . and there will be no more in that combo.. . . ever!!!! Unfortunately I doubt that will be the path the R35 will take but. . . . what price can you put on Fun. . .
