  1. BTW this is in the states. Here is the story. I have a r33 skyline gts with a R32 RB26 with a full race gt35R kit that ended up making a little over 460rwhp. The car was tuned and drove completely fine with the neglect of a small oil pan leak from the front of the motor. Now rather than checking the oil level like i should have knowing the problem, i took off like a bat out of hell trying to tune my boost controller. Now after repeated redline 8000K pulls on the highway, the motor just let go I have purchased a (new) JDM used R32 motor and now started reading about this crank collar crap and am wondering what really happened? The motor is out of the car and rb25 oilpan is already swapped onto the new motor and am about to order the N1 oilpump. My theory on JDM motors is that if you crack anything outside of the valve cover, it will never run in the same reliable way. I dont want to take the crank out of the motor cause then u never know when the $3K i just spent will just end up in the dumpster like the previous motor. It is a street car that i use only on the weekend, but i do love the strip as well as pulls against exotics reaching speeds over 140mph. What do i do with this oiling problem? Is the N1 pump with a 7K redline set by me enough to keep this new motor healthy?

  3. I am looking for some wheels for my R33 cause i hate my ghetto tenzo Rs. Can you guys post some pics of your cars with wheel sizes and offsets.
  4. Is it a wideband or one of those ghetto ones that you hook upto the original o2 cause if it is throw it in the garbage. Wideband should have all the clips that plug and play after you weld a bung into your downpipe.
  5. The car is shooting crazy white smoke under high RPMS and boost. What could it be. If it was oil then it would have a little blue in it but its just white. I am full on coolant and dont seem to be losing any. Could it be turbo seals, headgasket or valve seals. The car is making a little scraping sound thats seems to be coming from the intake side of the head. What could it be? Thanx Tom
  6. I have a Full-Race manifold with a twin scroll T4 GT35R, T1R 1000cc Injectors and a power FC. Fuel questions: Is a walboro 255 enough to support 550hp and those 1000cc injectors or do i need an aditional bosch inline? Boost: What is the safe level that an RB26 that is stock with no head gasket can be set to? 18-20 psi on a 35r? Clutch: Whats the most efficient clutch that can be driven daily. I was planing to go Exedy twin disc but that is a little too pricy for me. I was planing to go ACT extreme with a 6 puck sprung but i dont really want a stair master in the car with that heavy pressure plate and am scared about the slave going bad constantly.   7. I have just purchased the Full Race manifold for the rb26dett and a GT35R with twin tial wastegates. Does anyone have any Single turbo install writeups. What is the best choice for fuel pumps. Every one here one the East Coast (usa) is recomending walboro 255 intank and a external bosch. Without poping the head what is the maximum amount of Boost a stock 26 can take safely every day. I have 1000cc T1R injectors, D-jetro Power FC and a tune is coming when the install is completed. Does anyone have any part numbers for the water and oil lines as well as the plugs.   8. the only mechanic i would ever trust with any of my cars is myself. I have never payed for any labor on any of my cars unless it involved welding or body work, so its going to be a trial and error game. The car runs like poo now because it is not tuned properly but Jeff Evans is going to tune it as soon as the gt35r is slapped on. What oil pressure is the RB26 run? When i start the car it hesetates to idle and the oil light comes on until i get it ideling at 800 rpm. On the stock gauge, the motor runs on the first bar the whole time at normal operating temp. Is that normal? I know i need a real oil press gauge but $ is tight after spending close to $6K on the turbo kit.
  9. My name is Tom and I am new to this Forum but not the Nissan Game. I am from New Jersey (USA) and am coming from a 398 rwhp S13 into a R33 GTS with a RB26 in it. The turbos just took a dump on me so I bought a full rave manifold with a GT35R with twin Tial 44s, 1000 cc T1 injectors and a D-Jetro Power FC. I am deffenetly going to need some install help cause there is only a few ppl here with skylines and even fewer with single rb26. Here are some pix of the new and the old.
